Just finished night 2 of 3. Frankly traumatised by the state of the NHS. Short staffed. No beds. Patients waiting on hold to 999. Handing over a 10 hour wait in majors this morning. The NHS is being wilfully failed and people are dying because of this.

Currently caring for a #covid19 long-haul patient: my hubby! Docs think he has Vestibular neuritis, causing severe dizziness that comes on suddenly. He can’t work, drive etc. Healthy 34-year-old, no prior history of medical issues, collapses and hits his head days after recovery.

@ChasFondue @chris_salt Apart from the certificate we got no information from the vaccine centre yesterday. I wasn't even told which vaccine was given. Kicking myself for not asking! I'm guessing since the booking is online it will automatically book it for the second jab in 12 weeks.

Staff in the school where I was a headteacher did not congregate in the staff room with alcohol. Instead they went home exhausted, washed their clothes and experienced two emotions, a sense of duty and worry in case they had brought Covid home with them. How dare you!

@chris_salt Today I was told by someone working at the vaccination centre that they would get two doses. I am relieved. Thank you so much for the info. It helped me to make my decision re jabs.

Long covid has ruined my life. I was 21 when i got ill,now i'm 23. I was a sport science major and i loved powerlifting and bodybuilding(still do). I had a mild initial case. Then i kept getting worse. I am afraid i will never live again and i'm losing my youth day by day./

Two years and one week from my first time and I have covid again. Both times passed on to me by my children. They ask you as an adult to ‘be careful’ & that’s meaningless when you have kids mixing in settings that -two years on- have hardly any mitigations to reduce transmission.
