My entire portfolio including 401k:
Current market value: $2.73M
$VOO / S&P 55%
$QQQM 25%
$URA 15%
$SYM 4%
$IRDM 1%
Follow me as I do nothing to this mix, and plan to retire in 2034.
Work 401k will increase S&P alloc.
I'll rebalance URA if it gets > 20% of my portfolio.
@ramit When I wrote "you can figure out college expenses", I never said my kids are on their own! We will get merit scholarships, scholarships, federal subsidized loans (that we'll likely pay for them when they graduate), parent plus loans, and straight up cash. y'all quick to assume!
@ramit We have woefully underfunded our kids 529 but our retirement is set. You can figure out college expenses and take out loans. You can't "figure out" retirement. Pay yourself first.
@AcdntlyRetired We've taken a 12-16 day summer vacation to Europe with our teenagers the last 3 years, it's been awesome. Still work, so 2 weeks off is what we can swing.
@AcdntlyRetired Any advice for me? I just went 95% etfs, but my brain is wired to look for the next setup, asymmetric bets, etc. I put a 5 min daily timer on my stock apps. I itched the scratch by allowing myself one stock in my IRA , at 4% of my entire portfolio.
@TheBigLong2019@P_Remarks I bought at $39 and thought it was a double from there, so I expect $80 (mkt cap of $8-$9B).
Spectrum is a scarce asset and in demand. ~$3-4B spectrum value alone not counting their operating business.
@staysaasy We're here. I'm first generation Irish. Despite being raised in deep Irish culture, my kids probably don't identify as Irish as much as I did/do.
@WhiteHouse Seriously? Your social team doesn't have better things to do? People are struggling. Food prices and gas prices are too high, and you're posting AI slop.
