Hello all! Hoping for some editable directional signage for the home environment. “Toilet” “do not turn off” etc. I’m struggling to find yellow background black writing and not just a download (no printer)or heavy duty for care homes. Any help very welcome, Grandpa in need! #OT
Okay, now I’m excited! I have been offered a Band 5 Occupational Therapy post within Neurological Rehabilitation! So excited to get started! Any recommendations for reading welcome 🤍 #neurorehabilitation#NQOT
When you are offered a NQ OT job and realise the placement hours, travelling, countless hours at the computer and bank shifts to boost experience were all worth it. Relief is not what I’d expect to feel. The crazy excitement will begin immanently I imagine 😂🤍 #NQ#OT
Silly snow and ice making me miss my last ever lecture. Least it looks pretty🧊❄️ and water as been restored to our area again now 💦☕️time for a brew I think.
It happened! I finished my last ever placement and luckily due to my great practice educators I feel somewhat ready to take on my own Band 5 role! Fingers crossed for my last assignment and the big job hunt! #OTStudent
Managed to pass my dissertation! So relieved! On another note, I’m obsessed with ice hockey 🏒 and have started ice skating lessons ⛸️ ❄️ #occupationaloverload
@RebeccaHarkin97@OTalk_@LauramainsO I’ve never had a research placement but have heard from others that the different perspective that research placements provide coupled with clinical experience can be useful to help contextualise use of research/ evidence based practice :)
