@DanielPomarede Nice, thank you! A treasure trove in a mere 15GB. :) I understand NASA also makes raw files (i.e. NEFs) available upon request, so I may also try and ask them for a few select ones.
@adamkontor@garrypierre_@MKBHD The astronauts have Nikon D5 and Z9 cameras (plus iPhones) onboard. Still, the most impressive part about the shot is a detail missing here: ISO 51200. The reason for such extremes is that it's the night side of the Earth. This shot would not have been possible back on Apollo.
@trq212@altryne@thursdai_pod Absolutely this but you guys need to communicate and educate properly, There's a fair few threads on the CV subreddit already about the issue. It kind of defeats the purpose of having 1M ctx if every time you pause for a while you can't really continue without penalty.
@trq212@RafaCrackYT I believe this is simply related to cache with 1M context. Had context at ~50%, random prompt after a pause, instant ~35% session usage on Pro. Haven't had issues since compacting and keeping context relatively low.
@bcherny Lots of complaints about token usage today on Reddit. Isn't it just 1M + cache creation? I had a couple of contexts growing for a few days til 50%, and sure enough when I come back after a few hours pause there's always a big jump in usage. Preserve cache for longer?

@cursor_ai I've been using the editor for a bit (with a Pro sub) and both Composer and (specifically) the editing experience via Tab are world class BUT the fast autocomplete model is imho _very_ weak in terms of understanding instructions. Any way to use e.g. 4o-mini with Tab?
The room wasn't full by any means but seldom have I _felt_ an audience so silent as during the last act of @CivilWarMovie at the @BFI@IMAX in London. Alex Garland, some of his regular cast and a few new faces, all fantastic, deliver another powerful experience. #CivilWarMovie
@StefanEJones Very sad news. I re-read both A Fire Upon the Deep and A Deepness in the Sky every couple of years, and my favourite is always the one I read most recently. Fantastic books!

Prompt: “Beautiful, snowy Tokyo city is bustling. The camera moves through the bustling city street, following several people enjoying the beautiful snowy weather and shopping at nearby stalls. Gorgeous sakura petals are flying through the wind along with snowflakes.”
@EdLudlow I have to say, if the breakthrough OpenAI seems to have had a few weeks ago - as per both Sam and Ilya in sep interviews - were to be vastly increased plan-ahead capabilities compared to their current models, and this whole charade was the result, it'd be the ultimate live demo.
This seems like a good outcome for Microsoft, but especially given the sure-to-be mass exodus at OpenAI (likely including @miramurati) I'm not sure it's the best timeline. Shame @sama and @ilyasut didn't manage to reconcile.
