🚨Friendly reminder for the $AZERO fam!🚨

The Aleph Zero Foundation’s nodes will be reduced Dec 16th. This is a great time to switch your nomination to a community run Validator. We’re proud to be one of the many great community Validators for @Aleph__Zero

We have been doing this since day 1 and we’re not going anywhere 🚀

Nominate: FIRSTBLOCK

More to come on our plans to support #zkOS via a Relayer Node

[Aleph Zero @Aleph__Zero]

📺 Run relayers, get rewards. Boosted AZERO economy inbound!

There are a few key things incoming:

🔘 Network decentralization through community validators taking over the block finalization committee–already on Testnet!;
🔘 A new role in the system: the relayer and relayer nominator that get all the fees for shielding and unshielding. This is your new way to participate and get rewards!
🔘Full decentralization ahead: switch to community validators and get higher rewards!

⚙️ Staking with community validators helps secure the Aleph Zero network—and gets you more AZERO rewards. Here’s why!

Nodes run by the community have been enabled in December 2022, yet some users still nominate the AZF validators.

Here's why you might reconsider nominating one of the community validators:

👉 You get a higher commission when staking with community validators;
👉 You help decentralize the network when staking with community validators;
👉 There is no automatic slashing, so you don’t risk losing your coins when staking with community validators; staking with the Foundation or the community is equally secure;
👉 All nodes, including the Foundation, are subject to Automatic Suspension Mechanism (ASM) — if a validator underperforms, it will be briefly suspended, but not slashed;
👉 When nominating a validator, you don’t send your coins anywhere; they remain in your wallet/account.
