📣📣📣 Over the last 10 years, approximately 157,000 hectares of B.C.'s public forests have been sprayed with herbicides, an average of 15,700 hectares every year. The primary herbicide used is glyphosate.

Most of this spraying occurs in Northern B.C., especially the Omineca and Northeast regions, after logging to suppress naturally regenerating broadleaf trees like aspen and birch so planted conifers grow faster.
