The namesake of Southie’s Thomas Fitzgerald Post was a young man from Gold St who participated in the Aisne-Marne offensive & was KIA near Chouy, France from an artillery strike. His remains were never recovered.

What a fun event this evening with the Moms Club of South Boston and veterans @FitzyVFW561 where the kids made Valentine’s cards for SB vets! We celebrated our community and showed our appreciation for all who have served our country. Thank you to everyone who came!
