Uruguay Football Team arrived in the United States for the World Cup and were greeted by sniffer dogs and full security checks. What a joke. The US empire is evil.
WHO SHOOTS LITTLE GIRLS IN THE HEAD.
A little girl was shot in the head by an Israeli drone, but the bullet lodged between her skull and scalp.
She must have been protected by an Angel.
@ZelenskyyUa How subtle you draft the security plans for Europe. The Tanks, the F-16, the Patriot batteries, now the anti ballistic systems. It almost looks as if you were working for the military industrial complex.
Germany is in panic over Chinese companies taking over its markets at home, abroad and in China. Having spent quite some time in China in the 2010s, I canโt help but thinking back to the arrogance and quite frankly racism of German expat businesses people. Chinese engineers with Ivy League degrees speaking fluent English and German looked down upon by German engineers with a degree from some German university, unimpressive English and less than two sentences of Chinese. The Germans didnโt see it coming because they couldnโt imagine Chinese people becoming better at what they are doing than themselves. An industry insider told me at the time how keen Chinese entrepreneurs were to collaborate with German car companies on EV development. But all the Germans worried about was they are going to steal our IP. Well, here we are.
Kaja Kallas who - I kid you not - is supposed to be the EU's top diplomat, just described China as a "disease," specifically "cancer." ๐คฆโโ๏ธ
Just as the entire rest of the world - including Trump's US - are deciding to re-engage with China, the EU prefers to insult them.
Why would China be "cancer"? Because, in Kallas' own description, their companies are more competitive and this forces what she describes as a binary choice for the EU: "morphine" - subsidize EU companies - or "chemo", become more hostile to Chinese companies.
Or maybe, just maybe, it's not binary, and if there's any cancer eating away at Europe's future, it's precisely Kallas' mindset - the reflex to call "disease" what is simply someone else doing a better job.
Ukrainian military thugs are brutally beating peaceful Ukrainians in the streets like a pack of jackals.
The people do not want to fight for Zelenskyy.
"Israel wants to live in peace with its neighbours" is the biggest lie of all time.
This is the West Bank.
No Hamas, no war, yet attacked like this daily by "settlers" backed by the IDF.
A savagely violent Jewish supremacy armed by the EU/UK/US
If the American empire collapsed tomorrow, many of its citizens would not first feel guilt.
They would feel disorientation.
Because empire has not only given them material illusions.
It has given them psychological furniture.
A sense of superiority.
A sense of innocence.
A sense of protected distance from the rest of humanity.
A sense that violence is tragic when done to them and strategic when done by them.
That is why so many react with rage when the mask slips.
Because the truth does not merely accuse their government.
It destabilizes their identity.
And that identity has been carefully built on layers of comfort, confusion, and fear.
58,000 Americans died in Vietnam.
Over 3,000,000 Vietnamese died.
And for fifty years, American culture has centered the grief of the 58,000 while treating the 3,000,000 as a backdrop.
As scenery. As context. As "the Vietnam War experience."
They built a wall in Washington with American names on it.
A beautiful wall. A solemn wall.
Good. Mourn your dead.
But understand what that wall does not say.
It does not say why they died.
It does not say what they were doing there.
It does not say what was done in their name to the people whose country it actually was.
It does not mention My Lai, where American soldiers massacred an entire village, old men, women, children, babies, and the officer who ordered it served three years of house arrest before being pardoned.
Three years. House arrest. Pardoned.
For five hundred people murdered in a ditch.
It does not mention the 2.7 million acres of Vietnamese forest doused in Agent Orange, a chemical weapon disguised as herbicide, that is still deforming Vietnamese children today.
Not in 1970. Not in 1985. Today.
Children born in 2020 with bodies twisted by a war their grandparents fought.
And the chemical companies that made it are still in business.
Still profitable.
Still un-prosecuted.
And yet they send us human rights reports.
They grade our democracy.
They warn us about our behavior.
The audacity is so enormous it becomes almost impressive.
Almost.
