How many different ways can we talk about the struggle, the suffering, the impossible task, of fetching water daily when the only source is trucks. There will never be enough. We cannot reach all areas. But we can do more. https://t.co/6l9JFjXgdv
Whatβs holding us back from relieving some of this pain? Only one thing: funding. We have the team and we have the infrastructure. We have to be able to pay for the limited fuel the occupation allows in, and pay for the filtered water that takes money to produce. We need our communityβs help.
On May 26, 322,000 liters of fresh drinking water reached areas in the North by the efforts of and your support of the Translating Falasteen (@translatingpal) x The Sameer Project team.
Please continue to be a part of our strong community of support and donate to the Food and Water fundraising link in our bio.

Al Jazeera Arabic has published a new short report including exclusive interviews with former members of collaborator militias who operated in areas controlled by the occupation east of the "Yellow Line" in Gaza. Using photos and testimonies obtained from a source within the Ministry of the Interior in Gaza, correspondent Suhaib al-ΚΏAsa analyzes the nature of these groupsβ operations, as well as their recruitment mechanisms and coordination with the occupation army.
According to the report, a number of people who joined these groups initially believed they were responding to recruitment ads offering job opportunities or humanitarian aid, only to later discover the true nature of the endeavor. The report quotes a former member as saying that within a few days of joining, he felt as if he were βinside a prison,β stressing that the promises he had initially received quickly proved to be fabrications.
According to the testimonies, these militias carry out field missions inside the Gaza Strip, with some of their members receiving training in Hebrew to facilitate communication during operations.
