First, Dr Eva Cacabelos @EvaCacabelos from University of Vigo will deal with the fundamental question in conservation biology of how anthropogenic disturbances impact on intertidal communities across the Macaronesian archipelagos.
Then, in the afternoon, Dr Viviana Peña from University of Coruña will follow with another thrilling talk on "Coralline red algae of the Macaronesian region: uniqueness and biogeographical relationships". Stay tune for more keynote speakers reveals!!
Less than 2 months for the FloraMac2022!! Indeed, it seems like a good time to introduce our incredible crew of keynote speakers, who will cover a broad and terrifying variety of disciplines in terrestrial and marine botany!
Kicking off the conference, on Monday 12th September, Dr Carlos García-Verdugo from University of Granada will take us through his exciting work on "Islands syndromes and Macaronesian plants"
