The Trail Blazers’ analytics department reportedly viewed Jaylen Brown as a negative player 😳, per @TheAthletic
“Another team with widely reported interest, the Trail Blazers, similarly did not join the chase. A Blazers team source said the Blazers were never enamored with Brown, even before Boston made it known he was available on the trade market. Two factors went into the Blazers’ disinterest: Their analytics viewed him as a negative player and the Celtics’ asking price was too high.”

After sitting here watching NBA free agency this year and overall NBA movement over the past 2 years somebody has to say it....
The new CBA was sold as parity, but the first and second apron are starting to function like a hard cap on player value, team continuity, and player movement.
Teams are no longer making purely basketball decisions. They’re making fear-based apron decisions. That means good players get squeezed, homegrown cores get broken up, fan-favorite teams lose their identity, and the overall product loses some of the nostalgia and continuity that made people fall in love with the NBA in the first place.
This isn’t about players not understanding business. It’s the opposite. We understand that the NBA is a business. That’s why the @TheNBPA has to operate with elite business acumen, elite negotiating strategy, and real foresight.
The owners and the league walk into these meetings with killers that continue to run circles around us time and time again with elite lawyers, economists, cap experts, media strategists, and long term business operators. Players deserve a PA that is just as sharp, just as prepared, and just as aggressive about protecting our upside.
Too often, it feels like players are informed after the fact instead of being truly educated and empowered before decisions are made. That cannot continue.
The next CBA is a do or die moment for us as players. It's only going to get worse for us. We need transparency, accountability, and a serious re evaluation of who is representing us and how they are representing us.
This is not anti parity. This is pro player, fan, and product. The league is strongest when players are valued properly, great teams can stay together, and the people representing us are operating at the same level as the people sitting across the table.
Jayson Tatum’s camp was unhappy with the way Jaylen Brown was acting, per @BrettSiegelNBA
“Members of Tatum's camp had expressed externally to others in league circles that they were not happy with Brown's demeanor and his angle of claiming that this was the season he enjoyed the most with the Celtics.”
I only imagine how the city felt when they fired Jenk 2 weeks before the playoffs and they were a 4 seed 🥴 then blew up the team 😂 yall need a fade with the front office
Aye @JaMorant ion know if you gone see this 12. But it’s some niggas mad you ain’t tell the city goodbye. They tryin to act tough but deep down them niggas hurt mane. Aye do me a favor so them niggas can stop whining and make a goodbye post. You done had the city in shambles the last 2 days. These MF’s don’t know how to act. 😂
I’m a free agent. I don’t have an agent right now just me and my family.
I know I have a lot left, and I genuinely love this game. I’d rather show you I’m ready than spend my time trying to explain why or flood you with analytics to prove it.
If you’re about winning, value mentorship, and think there could be a fit, you can reach me directly. I’m open to every opportunity right now—I just want to make sure I weigh each one carefully.
I can’t wait to share my story.

The Celtics felt that Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum were no longer a championship-caliber duo, per @ShamsCharania
“Whether it was personal situations between the two players or whether it was just the on-court basketball fit, the Celtics had just made the determination that, moving forward, they can no longer win a championship, clearly, with Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum,”

I laughed at this video for 20 mins today. Reason being we had some work done at my job, and the guy that did it works with his dad, and they were beefing to the same magnitude 😂 i’m otp with the pops like “man your son saying give him the money, yall fix it.” 😂 same race 😭
Roofers get into a fight while working on a job, fall off the roof, and continue fighting.
"The white folks are gonna call the cops if you guys don't calm the f*ck down..." one man was heard saying in Spanish.
Remarkable camera work here.
