Flybridge

Seed-stage VC working with entrepreneurs building our AI future.

[Flybridge @flybridge]

It's a pleasure to kick off #BosTechWeek with remarks from none other than Boston @mayorwu! She shared 3 reasons why Boston is special:
1) Boston is in it to change the world
2) We are in it to ensure that Boston can be a home for everyone
3) We are in it to win it!

We @flybridge are hosting a founder dinner on the future of all things agent-to-agent on Tues, Sept. 8, 6 PM in Flatiron. Send your AI agent to register on your behalf; if they can get through, you belong there: https://t.co/o25GPwKJYx

[Dorothy Jean Chang @dj]

8 founders will pitch in front of dozens of investors, and the winner earns a $50k investment from @flybridge's pre-seed fund, @NextWaveNYC! Apply here ==> https://t.co/iISVRD3eZU

[Dorothy Jean Chang @dj]

Next Wave NYC's annual pitch competition is for all the startup founders raising their first round of funding. For the founders who have found an irresistible calling and are building toward a big vision. For the founders who are pushing the boundaries of what AI can do.

Super fun day today!

@Flybridge completely took over a local bodega, handing out free BECs while founders pitched us their startups.

We had a dozen VCs and a couple hundred entrepreneurs pack the space. We even got to pay it forward by serving free food to the neighborhood regulars.

Tonight, I’m heading over to the Pitch Roast show. Text me if you want to snag some last-minute tickets!

Or just DM me :)

Something we've never done before is happening in NYC.

@ElevenLabs is opening a physical store during NYC @Techweek_ (June 1-7), and every part of the experience is run by a voice agent.

We'll be demoing other experiences including AI-generated music you can hear playing in real time, and coffee will be served by a robot barista (on us)!

If you are a Startup Founder, we're hosting a special event for you on Wednesday the 3rd!

Boston has spent years producing elite talent while louder ecosystems sold the mythology.

Titans of Boston Tech during #BOSTechWeek, hosted by @flybridge with Drew Parten, Jessica Buss, and Tech Week, puts the city’s next question in one room: what happens if the builders stay home? The lineup spans the stack: @bhalligan of @HubSpot, Eric Paley, @bussgang, @chazard, @liordiv of @7ai_agentic, @Kimwalsh7 of @Lovable, and Brian Elliott of Blitzy.

Boston already has the labs, capital, operators, and institutions. This cycle is about turning horsepower into volume and making the city an AI headquarters, not a talent pipeline for somebody else’s skyline.

What a way to kickoff day 1! We’re here at the Titans of Boston Tech event and it’s a full house @flybridge @bhalligan

[Tech Week @Techweek_]

Boston’s having an “everyone finally noticed” moment.

Today, at #BOSTechWeek, we heard from Titans of Tech about how the city that built HubSpot, powered foundational AI research, and quietly produced generations of top technical talent is now asking a bigger question: what happens when founders stop leaving?

Today at @klaviyo HQ with: @HubSpot x State of MA x @flybridge x
@7ai_agentic x @Lovable x @blitzyai

One of the most talked about events of Tech Week, and now I know why...

"Titans of Boston Tech" by @flybridge had an all-star line-up with a *lot* to say about entrepreneurship, talent, and what it takes for a city to win.

Great hearing from Jeff @Bussgang (GP, Flybridge), @bhalligan (Co-founder, HubSpot), @epaley (Sec. Economic Development, MA), with special appearances from Boston Mayor, @MayorWu, and our very own a16z speedrun GP, Jon Lai @Tocelot.

Fascinating convo with plenty of hot takes and honest observations on Boston's strengths + opportunities.

#BostonTechWeek @Techweek_ @flybridge

[Flybridge @flybridge]

We had an incredible #bostechweek kickoff with @MayorWu, @a16z's @Tocelot, Hubspot co-founder @bhalligan, MA Secretary of EOED @epaley, @blitzyai's Brian Elliott, 7AI's @liordiv & @Lovable's @Kimwalsh7!
Many thanks to @klaviyo @goodwinlaw @citrincooperman @rhobusiness @cartainc

[Flybridge @flybridge]

@blitzyai @liordiv @Lovable @Kimwalsh7 @chazard "We're focused on the art of what's possible... We need readiness, the ability to build something, of course. But we also need resiliency and a chip on your shoulder, and we have that in Boston." BOOM! - @Kimwalsh7

[Flybridge @flybridge]

The future of Boston is looking very bright as we hear from our Titans of Tomorrow panelists building Boston's hottest new unicorns: @blitzyai's Brian Elliott, 7AI's @liordiv and @Lovable's @Kimwalsh7. Great convo on building in Boston, led by our very own @chazard #bostechweek

[Flybridge @flybridge]

@blitzyai @liordiv @Lovable @Kimwalsh7 @chazard And a final note from @Kimwalsh7 on building in Boston: "We talk a lot about schools and they're obviously amazing, but there's this whole other side of Boston that is GRITTY. there's nothing above us that we can't do..."
