Having Jomo Kenyatta as the first prime minister and president was a mistake built on ignorance and absence of historical lessons of betrayal.

Letting Moi take power and brutalize Kenyans, institutionalize impunity and plunder public resources for 24 was not a mistake; it was by design, lethargy and cowardice.

Mwai Kibaki, Uhuru Kenyatta and William Ruto were made presidents through the machinations of local organized mafia and involvement of the imperialists.

REVOLUTION IS THE ONLY SOLUTION

You can’t work with someone who ordered the abductions, illegal detentions, torture and murder of civilians while he occupied public office and claim to represent meaningful change and constitutionalism.

You can’t work with someone who disobeyed multiple court orders when he occupied public office and then claim to be progressive.

You can’t work with someone who shot and permanently maimed a civilian while he occupied public office and then claim to respect human rights, the constitution and the rule of law.

You can’t work with someone who plundered public resources while he held public office then turn around and claim that you will protect public resources from theft.

You can’t be a solution to problems you have been part of and which you either condone or perpetuate.

Kenyans cannot replace looters, abductors, torturers, thieves and murderers with criminals who are as bad as they are.

You can’t represent genuine change unless you are ideologically transformative and committed to the complete overhaul of the colonial structures and institutions, and the creation of a merit based society.

Changing suits, colours, political parties and perpetuating the culture of impunity is NOT GENUINE CHANGE.

Recycling thieves, looters, murderers and ideologically compromised colonial mascots perpetuates the culture of impunity which Jomo Kenyatta, Daniel arap Moi, Mwai Kibaki, Uhuru Kenyatta and William Ruto represent(ed)!

A revolution is the only answer!

Don’t tell us about “lesser evils”. Kenyans don’t want, need or deserve evils—lesser or bigger!

As you retreat to think through and plan your role in the June 24th and 25th protests, as well as Saba Saba, we wish you well.

In the meantime, let me congratulate my good friend Kalonzo Musyoka for finally agreeing with his running mate, Edwin Sifuna, that the name of their coalition shall be Ukombozi Linda Mwananchi Alliance.

They have also agreed on their preferred Nairobi team. Babu Owino will run for Governor, Irungu Nyakera for Senator and someone you do not like for Women Representative.

I know you had previously advised that Nairobi should have a Kikuyu Governor. They have respectfully rejected that suggestion and settled on their own lineup. They are equally aware that you would have preferred Irungu Nyakera to challenge for Babu Owino's Embakasi seat, but they are comfortable with the arrangement they have chosen. In any case, Nyakera himself says you have mistreated him, I am sure you agree with that, especially with all the money he has given DCP.

As you take your rest, the team will be in the mountain, demonstrating they do not need you to make entry. Linda Mwananchi will be in Thika on 11th June and in Meru on 21st June.

Whether they have your blessing or not, Kalonzo's foot is firmly on the accelerator. It is good to note you have agreed to move the announcement of a candidate from next year to this year, because SKM will unveil his bid in August

Towards that end, Ukombozi, Linda Mwananchi Alliance has already attracted 7 parties that will sign an MOU in the next few weeks to kick-start their new vehicle.

Somalia's Omar Abdulkadir Artan — first Somali ever selected for the FIFA World Cup, CAF Referee of the Year — arrived in the US with a diplomatic passport and approved visa.

US authorities denied him entry at the airport and sent him back to Turkey. No reason given.

This is the "global game" hosted by America: merit means nothing if your passport comes from the wrong country.

Our children are being stolen. Between Jan 2025–Mar 2026, Kenya recorded 10,581 child protection cases,1,952 abductions, 173 trafficking cases. That is 23 children a day.

Last week in Githurai, a 2-year-old was kidnapped by a teenager sent to steal a child for a phone. In Juja, residents shut down the Thika Superhighway after 4 children vanished in two weeks. In Central Kenya, 372 violence-against-children incidents in under a year. This is a national emergency.

The Penal Code provides for life imprisonment for kidnappers. I want to see DCI and DPP match that seriousness with urgent investigations and full prosecutions, not just press releases.

To every Kenyan, watch the children around you. Speak up and report because if we do not protect our children, we have failed at the most fundamental duty of a society. Our children are not a footnote. They are our future.
