We have now received the fund for #BBL from #starlingbank. If you are a #Barclays customer like us who is blocked from applying for the loan stop wasting your time and move to another bank. New online banks seems to be more efficient.

@Regsmit24961512 @Jamesdaviddunco I have now received the funds. Two days after I applied for #BounceBackLoan through #starlingbank . The whole process from opening the account to receiving funds took 7 working days. Now I will close the account in #Barclays who blocked us from the loan after 17 years with them.

Today I received my Starling card and applied for #BounceBackLoans within minutes.

It is a shame that such a simple thing as applying for a government backed #BBL loan was denied to us by #Barclays who sees it as a competition to its own expensive products.

As a ltd company you have to publish your accounts every year and everyone can have access to it. That is probably why they did not ask for proof, they have just checked the published records. Hope you get sorted very soon.

@Regsmit24961512 @Jamesdaviddunco The loan has been approved but I have not received the fund yet. I applied yesterday and the #BBL was ready to sign this morning. So far #starlingbank has been excellent. As soon as the funds are in I'll say goodbye to useless #Barclays.

@Jamesdaviddunco I applied last Wednesday. It took two days to open the account and then I had to wait for my card to apply. The card arrived today and it took a few minutes to apply. Now lets see how long it takes to process the #BBL application and finally pay.

After 17 days of #Barclays blocking customers from applying for the #BounceBackLoans I hope they would stop sending me letters about their efficiency in dealing with complaints. I seem to get one every two days

@Amandinesoso @Barclays We had the same problem since day 1. We are blocked from applying for #BounceBackLoans by #Barclays deliberate errors. #Barclays gives a new meaning to emergency.

@RishiSunak Unfortunately, not the case for thousands of Barclays Business customers, who seem to be getting deliberately blocked from even contacting Barclays, never mind actually being able to apply #bouncebackloans #Barclays

I wrote to my MP to complain about #Barclays blocking us from applying for #BounceBackLoans , she replied that House is aware and are trying to talk banks like #Barclays to pass the govt loans to customers. I however think only customer feet change things.

@philbrigstock Dont waste your time with #Barclays. They have decided to block many customers from applying for #BounceBackLoans. I have opened an account with #Starlling and am waiting for my card to arrive to apply through them. I report back the outcome.

@TGLeeds70 We have the same problem with #Barclays. I find their publicised compensation offer an insult for the amount of stress that they cause.
