The airline lost my bag for 72 hours.
They handed me a $50 “courtesy” voucher at the baggage desk and smiled like they’d done me a favor.
I kept the voucher. Then I opened my laptop and used a 1999 international treaty they never mention at check-in.
Total recovered: $1,650.
Here are the three legal weapons most passengers never know they have.
That moment after sleeping with your girlfriend and you watch her lay in bed, then it hits you hard and you realize she was once a sex toy for other men before you.
Coupled with the fact you come to also realize there's nothing special about her, and you're fed up with the reality sex is all she has to offer.
You just went to end the relationship.
@RomanBrunori Te banco. Suerte
NAC (N-Acetylcysteine) - a master anti-aging, metabolic enhancing compound.
Research shows it can extend lifespan, lower inflammation, improve metabolism and even sexual function.
Let's cover the numerous benefits, the science and how you can implement it:
N-Acetylcysteine + glycine increases lifespan by ~25% in animal studies.
As precursors to the master antioxidant glutathione, this combination was shown to:
✓ Reduces organ damage
✓ Preserves mitochondrial function
even at low amounts.
N-Acetylcysteine is protective against asthma.
Asthma is largely driven by glutathione depletion,
but studies show NAC can:
⁂ Reduce inflammation: TNF-α, IL-5, IgE, eosinophils, nitric oxide
⁂ Improve antioxidant status
⁂ Normalize lung pathology + symptoms
NAC + glycine has been tested in humans, shown to be a literal a anti-aging, metabolic elixir in clinical trials.
➜ Reduces oxidative stress
➜ Improves mitochondrial function
➜ Improves cognitive function
➜ Reverses insulin resistance
Nearly every metric of aging and disease imaginable.
They synergize to improve glutathione status.
Other clinical trials have shown that NAC can inducesremission of inflammatory bowel disease.
Another condition of oxidative damage and inflammation, adding NAC for UC:
➜ 4X'ed remission rates
➜ Improved symptoms
and reduced inflammatory markers:
➜ ESR
➜ IL-1β
➜ IL-8
➜ MPO
➜ CRP
➜ ESR
➜ Calprotectin
Another study confirmed that NAC drastically reduces gut inflammation.
◇ Improves clinical score
◇ Lowers IL-8
◇ Lowers MCP-1
◇ Lowers IL-6
in people with UC, when used in combination with standard therapy.
NAC enhances dopamine output in neurons.
Treatment was shown to support growth of dopamine producing cells in the brain.
This coincided with improved symptoms from low dopamine.
NAC boosts testosterone, dramatically improves male fertility across multiple trials.
Poor sexual function and fertility is actually an oxidative stress driven process, and NAC:
◇ Increases testosterone
◇ Normalizes pituitary hormones
◇ Improves sperm motility
◇ Increases sperm volume
A recent study showed that NAC can reverse fatty liver disease.
The liver is probably the most important organ that never gets talked about, and NAC keeps it healthy by:
➞ Shedding liver fat
➞ Reducing liver damage
➞ Improving insulin resistance
➞ Lowering inflammation
NAC is a powerful way to improve immune function.
One study showed that HIV patients were 2X more likely to survive when incorporating NAC.
The immune system depends heavily on proper antioxidant support.
NAC regenerated their T cells.
NAC can also be therapeutic in autoimmune disease.
In autoimmune disease, the immune system's T cells are skewed towards an inflammatory type,
but NAC:
➞ Improves symptoms
➞ Restores glutathione
➞ Enhances mitochondrial function
resulting in improved disease progression.
Aluminum drives Alzheimer's disease - NAC prevents it.
Aluminum is highly present in many foods / drugs / consumer products, and can be a neurotoxin by inducing oxidative damage in the brain.
NAC:
➞ Improves memory
➞ Restores antioxidant status
➞ Normalizes brain structure
in animals given aluminum.
HOW NAC WORKS:
Glutathione is the body's "master" antioxidant, which is vital for protecting against free radicals.
Glutathione also acts as a detoxifying agent - it binds to various environmental toxins and aids in their excretion.
Excess free radicals directly drive inflammation and insulin resistance, and slow down mitochondrial energy output - among other key processes.
It is due to these actions that NAC has such a broad spectrum of benefit - many age related and metabolic conditions are inflammatory and oxidative stress driven in nature.
DOSING:
◇ As shown above, typical doses range from 600-2400 mg.
◇ I would start even less than that if you are interested, and titrate up depending on how you feel.
◇ NAC has the potential to cause GI side effects (though it also is used to treat inflammatory gut conditions)
This is AWESOME... Some guy just sequenced his entire DNA genome on his kitchen table 🧬🧪
It tells his cancer risk, drug responses, what his kids will inherit, and which diseases are coming decades before the symptoms.
Your genome is a 3.2 billion letter source code that predicts more about your health than any other test in existence. Almost no one has ever read their own.
This used to require a hospital, a specialist, and a referral that most doctors won't write. The raw data would sit in a medical record you'd never see.
Until now.
Here's how he did it:
→ Rubbed a cheek swab against the inside of his mouth for 60 seconds
→ Extracted the DNA from his cells using a $150 kit
→ Prepped the DNA for sequencing with enzymes that attach a motor protein to each strand
→ Loaded the sample onto a nanopore device the size of a highlighter, plugged into a MacBook
The device works by pulling single strands of DNA through holes one atom wide. As each letter passes through, it changes the electrical resistance in a tiny but measurable way. A neural network listens to the signal and reconstructs the sequence. 48 hours later, he had his full genome on his hard drive.
The data never touched a server. No spit kit in the mail. No company owning his most sensitive biological information. No risk of the whole thing getting auctioned off in a bankruptcy, which is exactly what happened to 23andMe's 15 million customers earlier this year.
AI is unlocking personal health in a way that has been impossible. We're still so early.
Cancer is cured by AI.
GitLab founder Sid Sijbrandij was diagnosed with stage 4 spinal cancer. Every trial rejected him.
His doctors had nothing left to offer.
So he stopped being a patient.
He built an AI research team. Fed them 25TB of his own medical data genomics, scans, treatment history, everything.
The system found a treatment his entire oncology team had missed.
Then engineered 19 custom vaccines from his own DNA.
Relapse-free since 2025.
Then he uploaded the entire blueprint. Free. For every person sitting in that same room, hearing the same verdict, with nobody left to call.
Medicine runs on averages. AI runs on you.
Pasaron cosas interesantes.
- Primero, decidió crear 4 sub-agentes: Bulma (CTO), Krillin (Ads Specialist) y Zelda (Head of Product).
Amo los nombres. 🤣
Y voy a añadir contenido orgánico automatizado.
"Juan carne come"
- SVO (35% de los idiomas: español, chino...). "Juan come carne"
- VSO (7%: árabe...). "Come Juan carne"
- VOS (2%: malagasy...). "Come carne Juan"
- OVS (0,8%: hixkaryana...). "Carne come Juan "
- OSV (0,3%: warao...). "Carne Juan come".
Someone is building a web browser from scratch.
❌ Not forking Chromium.
❌ Not using WebKit.
❌ Not borrowing from Gecko.
From scratch.
Here's why that's almost insane to attempt.
Every browser you use today - Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera, Arc, Samsung Internet, runs on Chromium. Safari runs on WebKit, which is where Chromium came from. Firefox is the only independent engine left, and its market share has been declining for a decade.
The browser engine is the most complex piece of software most people have never thought about. It parses HTML, runs JavaScript, implements CSS, handles cryptography, decodes images, plays video, manages memory - all at once, for every tab, while maintaining the security boundary between your machine and the internet.
Building one from zero has not been done successfully in over a decade.
Ladybird is doing it anyway.
1,200+ contributors. Every layer written from scratch:
> LibWeb: rendering engine
> LibJS: JavaScript engine
> LibWasm: WebAssembly
> LibCrypto/LibTLS: cryptography
> LibGfx: graphics
> LibMedia: audio and video
Each tab runs in its own sandboxed process. Network connections and image decoding run in separate processes entirely, so a malicious webpage can't reach the rest of your system.
Pre-alpha. No releases yet. 61K+ stars watching anyway.
When one engine controls the web, one company decides what the web can do.
That's the problem Ladybird exists to fix.
