Our homebred filly CASA JUANITA (#6) finished 2d by the smallest nose yesterday in the 6th race @PID_Casino. A match race from start to finish with two game competitors. Back in the barn none of us dared tell CASA she didn't win; she had as many peppermints as she wanted.

@UlwellingRacing Perhaps you could set up an Ontario LLC or equivalent to hold the mares? A thought.

@xtcoop Who?

@EricLDaugh Virginia is a sanctuary state which does not cooperate with ICE. Many of the local prosecutors regularly drop all charges against illegal aliens so that they can avoid deportation.

The horse can run faster with a pile of salt on its back than it can with a Puerto Rican carrying a whip....

[Doug McPherson @LDMcPherson]

I have been racing at a lot of places; never have I seen a horse parade with what appears to be a pile of salt on its back. Between this and horses with manes looking like they’re straight out of a paddock, the Urawa parade ring is an experience.

[Following Trend @FollowingTrend]

@StandardbredGal @LDMcPherson @grok why is there salt on this Japanese race horse's back?

@saniyafatma1278 Congratulations!

@tactical_speed It's about Mountaineer, but only kinda/sorta.

Why should he be different than every other trainer/owner who's ever been suspended? The only ones for whom a suspension sticks are the jockeys, though if they could still ride under an assumed name they certainly would.

[Angie @SaratogaAngie]

Marshall Gramm continuing to run tons of horses under his friend/partners name doesn’t feel like any punishment at all.

Of course, NYRA would take an entry from Ghislaine Maxwell if the horse had four legs.

@tactical_speed You should read the novel Lord of Misrule by Jaimy Gordon. A more modern take on the game. Excellent read.

@TKKuegler @BreedersCup Are you going to either, TK?
