May 2nd throughout the country and here in #Somerset, we have a chance to say No More. We want change and demand better. A vote for @LibDems can make that possible. Vote @RossHenley in to get them out!! #LE19 #Hatch #Blackdown #Toriesout #change #williamsout

[Sister Bex🕷luvin' the Tories' humiliating débâcle @YvonneLangley01]

Routed leader blames Theresa May for his fall from power.
"I can't think what I did wrong, so it must be all her fault," he says in his sensational memoir published today.

@DanielMumby @SWTCouncil @TauntonTories He may try and shift the blame to a national level but reality is the people of Somerset were fed up with him and his parties ineptitude with local issues. He needs to face up to that and accept that people voted for better local representation and change.

[BBC Somerset @bbcsomerset]

The Liberal Democrats have taken control of Somerset West and Taunton reducing the Conservatives to just 10 seats.

In Bath and North East Somerset, the Lib Dems won a majority for the first time ever.

[Ross For Hatch&Blackdown @ForBlackdown]

@mistercraig @FriendsofGalmi1 @bbcsomerset @Claire7Carter @bathnesld @tdlibdems Lots of reasons but in essence people want good local representation and Councillors who will fight their corner. Throughout Somerset that was the case and the results clearly demonstrate that.

[Ross For Hatch&Blackdown @ForBlackdown]

And this is 100% correct. @RossHenley is hugely involved in the community and the residents both respected and appreciated that. This was nothing to do nationally. This was good old fashioned local politics with key local issues. What a result #LocalElection2019 #somerset

@habgood Here's what @RossHenley had to say after beating John Williams - he's ousted the leader of @SWTCouncil in a big gain for @tdlibdems. #Somerset #LocalElections2019 #LE2019 #LDReporter

@lordparker @RossHenley will do a sterling job for @SWTCouncil

[Ross For Hatch&Blackdown @ForBlackdown]

That’s a great sight to wake up to. Very pleased for and proud of my friend @RossHenley on his election. He took on the Conservative leader and beat him because the residents knew Ross was the only person who would genuinely fight for his community. A great day. Well done Ross.

Only a few hours left. Not long to cast your vote and make a difference. Vote for Councillors who will listen to you. Vote for Councillors who are visible in your community. Vote for Councillors who care. Vote @LibDems #LocalElection2019 #Somerset

[Ross For Hatch&Blackdown @ForBlackdown]

Local residents spell out their views on the local Conservatives Facebook page about Tory Leader John Williams for the Blackdown&Hatch seat. They know only @RossHenley is in the area representing them not just at election time. It makes sense to vote for Ross and for @LibDems

[Ross For Hatch&Blackdown @ForBlackdown]

A lovely evening in the beautiful village of Hatch Beauchamp and it’s great to see the local support for @RossHenley and the @LibDems People want to see their vote mean something and their local concerns voiced. That’s why they are voting #LibDems on Thursday. #LocalElections2019
