.@DDOTDC what’s the plan to plow/clear snow from the bike lanes? y’all have done a great job keeping the roads clear for cars, but for bikers it’s still a mess out here.

COVID-19 Rapid Tests Return to the Library.
DC Health is working with partners across the District to place COVID-19 rapid test kits at various federally qualified health centers, WIC clinics, a food service center, and more. https://t.co/6sboFsANdy
This is a horrible policy. Kids are only getting resources & help when they’re already in trouble. Studies have shown youth curfews don’t reduce crime—studies in DC specifically have shown youth curfews have no impact on violence/crime or youth curfews increase violence/crime.
Juvenile curfew enforcement will focus on 7 key areas.
Youth will be brought to @DYRSDC, where the agency will connect with the youth and their families to proactively engage them and offer rehabilitative services and supports.
Chef Kevin Tien’s acclaimed Vietnamese restaurant, Moon Rabbit, is closing on the Wharf on Monday, a surprising move that union officials say was engineered by the luxury hotel that houses the restaurant to kill efforts of hospitality workers to unionize. https://t.co/fMYVnHr7od
Back in 2021, Biden called D.C.'s lack of voting representation and full self-government "an affront to the democratic values on which our nation was founded." Squaring that with today's statement is, well, difficult.
This is incredibly disappointing, Mr. President. This overhaul of the DC criminal code has been many years in the making and is already long-overdue. The imposition of the will of a government which affords us no representation is unconscionable.
I support D.C. Statehood and home-rule – but I don’t support some of the changes D.C. Council put forward over the Mayor’s objections – such as lowering penalties for carjackings.
If the Senate votes to overturn what D.C. Council did – I’ll sign it.
I'm joining my Council colleagues in calling on Senate Democrats and President Biden to stand with District residents. We need their reaffirmation that the more that 600,000 residents who call DC home have a right to local self-governance.

@MetBranchTrail @bikeshare@DDOTDC@DDOTDCDirector @Hart6e01 @Ritmai@charlesallen@CMCharlesAllen@Erik_Salmi@SafeStreetsDC@WABADC I am so glad you’re ok & so sorry this happened to you. Our city has prioritized cars over pedestrians & cyclist & it has made us all less safe. Both that section of Mass Ave & many other parts of the city need to be overhauled to make our city safe for everyone, not just cars.
Hey @southtree do you make a habit of deleting people’s family photos without warning & then not having anyone to answer your phones or is that just happening to me?
@nysensepulveda It’s a disgrace that you’re supporting a nominee who believes it’s constitutional to remove jurors based on the color of their skin, is anti-abortion, anti-union, and supports the Conservative Party.
It’s official! Thank you @charlesallen for swearing me in today!
Looking forward to working with my fellow @ANC6E commissioners to help better our community!
