The Voyage Forevermore is an actual play RPG podcast playing focused on collaborative storytelling, meaningful character development, and exploratory narrative.
@PodRealms@FF_Cast The longest I've ever gotten from a player was fifteen pages and included illustrations and diagrams. I loved it. Went through it with a highlighter and added annotations. That said, you have to know your GM and the game you're in. At some tables, a page would be a lot.
Today's #PodcastSpotlight is @ForevermorePod!
@ShoMarq calls this actual play podcast "immediately endearing, full of oddball characters and a delightful rapport around the table."

This is a very brilliant thread. One of the reasons we'll be playing Tavern Tales is because it's one of few systems I've run across that has these kind of rewordings and freeform progressions built into the system. It makes for a really rewarding long game.
one of the problems with advancement in games pbta generally, I think, is that the scope of the game changes but the scope of the moves doesn't follow it
I'm going to get really big picture here please hang with me I promise I'm going somewhere
I've only gotten a chance to play this once so far, but I'm sure I'm going to wind up playing it many, many more times. It's a wonderful game that really broke the mold, and imminently deserving of this award. If you haven't played it yet, you're missing out!
We're proud and excited to have won the Indie Groundbreaker Award for Best Rules!
We believe deeply in collaborative play, and are happy that people are enjoying the ruleset of Good Society.
one of the many brilliant things that @tithenai and @maxgladstone's This Is How You Lose The Time War does is to invert the relationship of scope and impact, so that a titanic conflagration of mutually annihilating starfleets is workaday routine, and finding a seed exhilarating
Just realized that we are 6 #followers away from 100! How awesome!! Pretty happy to be apart of this incredible #IndiePodcastCommunity that do nothing but support each other! #ThankYou to everyone who has helped us grow over the past 2 weeks!
(Also also, if you read/played it and liked it as much as I did, you should check out https://t.co/a9adKsYnic, which showcases some incredible hacks - and makes them very easy to play online!)
If you haven't checked out #ForTheQueen yet, you most definitely should - very few games manage to be so smart & so simple, all while telling such charged, tense, and intimate stories. (Also, this is my way of saying that I'm already working on like six hacks of it.)
