A huge relief for those ‘newly’ self employed (actually 2+ years for many) to finally be acknowledged but huge gaps and injustices remain for the #ExcludedUK
Govt support has focused too narrowly on those easiest to support and must be tailored to the modern world of work

Boris Johnson says there is money for self employed people. He misses the point that 3 million are still excluded. Unless everyone is protected financially, no one is safe health wise. If people can’t pay the bills they will go out to try to find work and increase infection risks

@RLong_Bailey @RishiSunak @ExcludedUK @ForgottenLtd @RefusedG @ForgottenPAYE Excellent question @RLong_Bailey. Whether it’s 3 million or (even by Rishi’s admission) at least 1.5 million, a huge number of people have been treated brutally by this govt
