@UfoknWOT@darlingstrawbie The most common reasons are not being able to afford a baby, bad timing, partner problems, and already having the children they wanted. Less than 1% were a result of sexual assault. In a recent study about HALF were not using any contraception the month they got pregnant.

@MissyIsMaga@Wearemez@h_norman88675 Poor nutrition and stressful environments can prevent reaching the top of their range, but there’s still a hereditary ceiling. Identical twins raised apart still correlate 0.70–0.75 in IQ. Adoptive children correlate more with their biological parents than their adoptive parents.
Africa didn’t have the logistical capacity to conquer other continents. That doesn’t mean it wasn’t violent. Comparing “Europe in Africa” to “Africa in Europe” just measures who had ships. The real comparison is African-on-African violence in Africa vs European-on-European violence in Europe.
“Figuring out the animals” only works if you pretend Africa was sipping tea and dancing. It wasn’t. Rwanda, Congo, Darfur, Biafra, Tigray, Boko Haram, that’s Africans killing Africans, including women and children, into the present.
Don’t take their agency away and pin every massacre on colonization. That’s just saying they don’t know better.
It’s the amount of time young women spend on social media + the algorithms engagement maximerizer for women. Empathy + victim framing.
The bedroom confessionals, crying close-ups, and “this happened to me” storytimes train viewers to treat every hard case as proof of a cruel system. So a sad clip about a migrant family, the police, or a protest gets read as “immigration restrictions are heartless,” “the police are the problem,” and “if you don’t already agree you’re on the wrong side of the popular, moral view.”
@johnbreadstx@Riggurmortis1@DonaldJTrumpJr You already declared that a man becomes a woman the second he says so. He just skipped the middle step. The asshole is the person who pretends the physical differences disappear once the paperwork is filed.
@nbjansen@andrewdoyle_com There’d be less confusion if people stopped redefining ‘woman’ to mean ‘anyone who says they’re a woman,’ then acting shocked when others refuse to pretend the new definition is true.
Absolutely. One is using reason and logic to get to their conclusions while the other is mostly using emotional appeal, illusory truth affect, and social pressure. You can’t really debate someone whose beliefs are fully moralized, any disagreement gets you labeled immoral. They cant engage cognitively, a crack in facade crumbles their identity as a person. It’s why you see these types denying obvious truths.
You made zero substantiated points, just the usual ‘not all’ deflection. IOM data shows the vast majority have primary/lower secondary levels of education or non. Certainly not doctors and engineers.
The truth is the vast majority are a net drain on the country’s resources. Slower integration. Initial employment is 30-50% after YEARS.
Labeling criticism or pattern recognition as ‘racist/hateful’ is disingenuous. Judge by outcomes, not origin.”
“Over policing” is a buzzword to sidestep the data of independent victim reports in the national crime victimization survey. Higher police presence is a result of higher crime, not the other way around.
Desperation from poverty can predict some theft or survival crimes. But not patterns of homicide, robbery, or aggravated assault seen in the black community. If poverty were one of the main drivers, we’d see comparable per capita rates across racial and ethnic groups at similar poverty levels. But we don’t.
Last week, the United States refused to participate in the UN’s review of the Global Compact on Migration.
The United States objects to the Global Compact on Migration and UN efforts to facilitate replacement migration to the United States and our Western allies.
Those cases all involve threats or violence, THATS what makes it a crime. The last one was likely just distributing the peace arrest. ‘Hate speech’ is a social justice not law. You can’t and shouldn’t be arrested for saying a word. How the word makes YOU feel or react is up to you. This argument is the same as ‘don’t tap on the glass’ for fish and ‘don’t feed the animals’. They just can’t help hire they react.
@baldheadpapi@GigglingGanon Because she immature and thinks rules don’t apply to her and has not been held accountable before. So why would it start now?
You’re kind of proving the critique. Labeling disagreement as “female-bashing” instead of engaging the argument is an emotional, narrative-first response.
The point isn’t “blame women.” It’s that modern progressive ideology, heavily shaped by contemporary feminist thought, prioritizes feelings, moral signaling, and identity over evidence and accountability.
When criticism is answered with moral outrage, that IS a feelings based response.
It’s weird how fast people jump to ‘transphobic’. When someone is personally invested in an ideology, because they’re apart of it or someone close is, their ability to question it usually collapses. Their whole moral framework depends on defending it. One honest question could knock the whole ideology down. So throw a quick morally deficient label (transphobic) and move on. It’s a shortcut to agreement which works in this feminist circles that are terrified of social rejection.
@naretevduorp @mwill68321 Ironic to call for education while reducing the opposing view to ‘ignorant hatred’. That is the classic straw man used by people who fall for emotional propaganda. Story first - details/facts optional.
