If America was being bombed day and night because of something horrific our government did, and many innocent Americans and American children were being killed and traumatically injured, and we begged for mercy, but the rest of the world said,
“Americans voted for their government so they deserve it, their government is bad so all Americans are bad, therefore this is what they get and must be done”
And the world was silent to our suffering.
And no one came to our aid.
And our cities and homes were bombed and turned to rubble.
And our infrastructure was destroyed, no farms, no grocery stores, no more organized society.
And no one helped our injured and hungry children.
How would you feel?
What would you think?
What would you do?
This is what is happening to Gaza where in spite of what we have all been told, many innocent people and children are being killed and they are not Hamas.
Does Hamas deserve it? Yes.
Do innocent people and children deserve it? No.
The innocent people in Gaza did not kill and kidnap the innocent people in Israel on Oct 7th.
Just as we spoke out and had compassion for the victims and families of Oct7, how can Americans not speak out and have compassion for the masses of innocent people and children in Gaza?
Is one type of innocent life worthy and another type of innocent life worth nothing?
For me, I think God sees all innocent lives the same and he loves them all. As a matter of fact, He sent his own son for all people, that’s how much He loves us.
America funds Israel $3.8 billion annually for military aid.
Actually correction.
U.S. taxpayers fund Israel $3.8 billion annually for military aid.
That means every U.S. tax payer is contributing to Israel’s military actions.
I don’t know about you, but I don’t want to pay for genocide in a foreign country against a foreign people for a foreign war that I had nothing to do with.
And I will not be silent about it.
The biotech company Colossal Biosciences declared on Monday it had “resurrected” the dire wolf. The bold claim was immediately met with skepticism and outrage from scientists on social media. https://t.co/PlEEsbxO7E
The entire article is full of lies. Bangladeshi people kicked out dictator Hasina from our country and there are no such rise of Islamist groups. Dr. Yunus is handling our country perfectly. Don’t spread lies and misinformation!!
🚨🇧🇩BANGLADESH FACES ISLAMIST SURGE AFTER REGIME CHANGE
Since the dramatic ousting of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in August, Bangladesh has spiraled into chaos - and what’s rising in its place is deeply alarming.
Under the interim leadership of Muhammad Yunus, the country has become a haven for radical Islamist groups once banned for terrorism.
Hizb ut-Tahrir, Hefazat-e-Islam, Tawhidi Janata, Jamaat-e-Islami, and the al-Qaeda-linked Ansarullah Bangla Team are no longer hiding in the shadows - they’re marching through Dhaka in broad daylight.
On March 7, Hizb ut-Tahrir defied a government ban and led thousands through the capital, chanting “Khilafat, Khilafat” and calling for the replacement of Bangladesh’s secular democracy with an Islamic caliphate.
The demonstration turned violent as people clashed with police outside the Baitul Mukarram Mosque.
Meanwhile, the streets tell a darker story. Islamist mobs have torched Hindu homes, destroyed temples, and launched brutal attacks on minorities.
Over 2,200 anti-Hindu incidents were reported in 2024 alone. Instead of condemning the violence, Yunus’s regime dismisses the attacks as “fake” or “politically motivated.”
Convicted terrorists are being released.
Among them are Mamunul Haque of Hefazat-e-Islam and Jashimuddin Rahmani of Ansarullah Bangla Team - men who once incited mass violence and murder. They are now free under government watch.
Groups like Jamaat-e-Islami - previously banned for their role in the 1971 genocide - have had their restrictions lifted and are re-entering the political space with their original goal intact: a global Islamic state.
What’s unfolding is the systematic dismantling of a secular republic.
If this trajectory continues, Bangladesh may soon join the ranks of Afghanistan under the Taliban and Syria under jihadist rule.

The Republican Party will use its best efforts to eliminate Daylight Saving Time, which has a small but strong constituency, but shouldn’t! Daylight Saving Time is inconvenient, and very costly to our Nation.
Bangladesh Government strongly #condemns the deplorable act of #desecrating the national flag of #Bangladesh and the burning of the effigy of the Hon’ble Chief Advisor during #violent#protests outside the Deputy High Commission of Bangladesh in Kolkata
I am very happy to be part of this project, and this is my first research paper from my postdoc lab. Congratulations to all the co-authors, and a special thanks to Anthony for teaching me everything about pollen biology experiments.
Hot off "The Plant Cell" press! We're thrilled to announce that our pollen paper has finally been published. Our research demonstrates that flavonols enhance tomato pollen thermotolerance by maintaining ROS homeostasis.

A @BD_Air_Force MI-171H helicopter bearing the @UN logo has been used for bucket missions during the ongoing student and public protests for at least two days. Two eyewitnesses reported that it was used to drop water on fires and that tear gas shells were fired from this helicopter, which bears the registration UN7682.
Recently, United Nations spokesperson stated in a press briefing that the use of any military equipment bearing the UN insignia is prohibited outside of UN missions, regardless of the necessity.
The photo was taken at 4 PM on July 19, 2024, in the Mohakhali area. Its metadata has been preserved.

I strongly condemn the violence taking place in Bangladesh. Peaceful protest is a human right & the government in Dhaka must protect the rights of those protesting, not attack them. I call on authorities to restore internet access & protect the civil liberties of their citizens.
