Some of the actors are different. Very different from rest of the bollywood. He is one of them. Vidyut Jamwal, an actor, martial artist and youth ambassador at the Yoga event, addressed the audience in a very sweet and gracious Sanskrit language 😇👌🏼
Indian students are DIYing a semiconductor fab at IIT Bombay.
In just 10 months they've built:
1. A DLP-based lithography machine.
2. A tube furnace to oxidise silicon.
3. A DC plasma sputter.
Total cost: ₹30 lakh.
Here's a rare behind-the-scenes look at HackerFab IITB.
India has overtaken the US in having the longest road network in the world as per Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).
India is now having 6.7+ million kms of roads, followed by the US at 6.6 million kms, and China 5.5 million kms. India also has the highest road density in the world.
India will continue to lead as India is now adding around 7,000-10,000 kms of highways a year. And will quickly catch up to China in paved roads, where China leads India by 0.5 million kms (India, US come second & third).
10,000 kms of road addition is like laying a road from Tokyo to London every year. This is no joke because if you think post 2020 India's infra boom was spectacular, India has only doubled its investment in infra now compared to 5 years ago.
Deeply shocking to read this official US statement, which contains absolutely no expression of regret or condolence for the loss of innocent Indian lives. How can a “friend” and strategic partner be so deeply insensitive?
Why couldn’t a non-compliant commercial vessel have been stopped using other, non-lethal means? Is it not possible to disable a ship's propulsion or steering without firing missiles targeted to kill civilian crew members?
Practically every merchant ship navigating these crucial waters has Indian crew on board. Are they all considered fair game for US missiles now?
This approach is unacceptable and I hope @DrSJaishankar had said so to @marcorubio.
What started as a small R&D team in Nagpur during Covid, asking whether we could design a server entirely from first principles, has grown into a full platform we're genuinely proud to put our name on. It's called Nathu La. 🧵
With so many reels of our tourists behaving badly abroad, here’s a lovely exception. A Bengali song bringing together people at Van Gogh Museum. Culture is spread best when it creates joy, not disruption.
