Honoured to sign the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement alongside my dear brothers, HRH Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and H.E. President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
Three brotherly nations, united by faith, friendship and a shared resolve for peace and security.
May this historic pact, signed in the shadow of the Haramain, remain a shield of peace for generations to come and may it bring prosperity for our three brotherly countries as well as for the Ummah.
I would especially like to express my deep appreciation for Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir whose untiring efforts and utmost dedication contributed immensely towards this great cause.
Tireless Pakistani and Qatari mediation has delivered major progress to end Lebanon War. Oil and petrochem exports are waived, blockade lifted, some frozen assets released, and major reconstruction & development plan launched for Iran.

Alhamdulillah, the First High-Level Committee Meeting under the framework of the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding has concluded successfully in Bürgenstock, Switzerland.
The discussions were held in a positive and constructive atmosphere and yielded encouraging progress, including agreement on a roadmap toward a final deal within 60 days, the establishment of a High-Level Committee to provide political oversight, and the commencement of further technical talks.
I commend the leadership of both the United States as well as Iran for their continued commitment to constructive engagement, and thank all brotherly and friendly countries for their valuable support in advancing this historic process.
In particular, I would like to express my gratitude to our brotherly country Qatar, for its critical support in creating the conditions necessary for these negotiations to move forward.
A word of thanks to the Swiss Government for their facilitation in hosting these talks.
I would like to pay special tribute to Field Marshal Asim Munir whose untiring efforts made these talks a success. His dedication, commitment and perseverance are indeed commendable without which there would have been no progress.
I would like to pay my warm compliments and heartfelt gratitude to Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, for his diplomatic efforts along with his team at the Foreign Office. I also deeply appreciate the hard work of Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi who contributed immensely to the success of these talks.
Pakistan will continue to play its honest and sincere role in advancing dialogue and diplomacy towards a peaceful and lasting resolution.
Go all in. Because half in is actually all out. Even 90% gets you nowhere. There’s magic in that last little bit. New levels unlocked. Simply because so few have the courage to go there.
Following intensive talks, we are pleased to announce that the Peace Deal between the United States of America and Islamic Republic of Iran has been REACHED. Both sides have declared the immediate and permanent termination of military operations on all fronts, including in Lebanon.
The official signing ceremony will be on Friday, 19 June in Switzerland.
We would like to thank the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran for their commitment to finding a diplomatic solution to the conflict. We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to our brothers in this mediation effort, the great leadership of State of Qatar, for their support in reaching this agreement. I would also especially thank the visionary leadership of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Republic of Türkiye for their immense contributions in this regard.
With the agreement now in place, mediators will facilitate a series of meetings this week. These pre-implementation discussions will lay the foundation for the technical talks and the official signing ceremony.

Major cheat code for life: Master the art of the fresh start. From a bad morning. From a bad interaction. From a missed workout. From a poor decision. The goal isn't to avoid the fall. It's to shorten the time between the fall and the reset. Fast recovery compounds.
People can help you in many ways throughout life, but there are two things nobody can give you: curiosity and drive. They must be self-supplied.
If you are not interested and curious, all the information in the world can be at your fingertips, but it will be relatively useless. If you are not motivated and driven, whatever connections or opportunities are available to you will be rendered inert.
Now, you won't feel curious and driven about every area of life, and that's fine. But it really pays to find something that lights you up. This is one of the primary quests of life: to find the thing that ignites your curiosity and drive.
There are many recipes for success. There is no single way to win. But nearly all recipes include two ingredients: curiosity and drive.
I used to think the most productive Muslims woke up at Fajr and grinded 12 hours.
Then I read how the Prophetﷺ actually structured his day. And I realised we've been copying the wrong people.
Today we’re introducing a new Legal Agent in @Microsoft Word, built to support the precision and rigor legal work demands. Every clause matters. Every redline tells a story. That’s why this agent was built to follow the structured workflows lawyers use while keeping them fully in control.
Early in my career, I asked for a computer on my desk because I believed technology could change how lawyers work. It did. Today, I believe this next generation of tools will do the same, grounded in trust and responsible use.
The most attractive trait isn’t looks, wealth, or status. It’s energy. When you walk into rooms with genuine enthusiasm, interest, and curiosity, you become a magnet for the highest quality people. Energy is contagious. Spread the kind you’d want to catch.
A mentor told me this: “Always assume things will work out, then do the work to make it true.” I’ve found the combination creates a quiet confidence that allows you to tolerate uncertainty better than anything else. I’ll never forget that.
So far in April, Gwadar has handled around 11,000 standard shipping containers. For a port that handled around 8,300 containers in all of 2025 and historically has not seen more than 20 ships dock in an entire year, the current activity is unprecedented. https://t.co/sGRaRYqhre
@DanQayyum Love Shan, pretty sure my uni life ran on it.
Feels like the real challenge now is keeping that instinct to tweak a dish till it’s yours. Been playing with pre-measured spices separately so you still cook by feel, not just follow a packet.
That’s what led to @bahaarkitchenuk💛
One year ago today, twenty-six tourists were killed in Pahalgam. India blamed Pakistan without evidence. Launched a war it could not win. Denied a ceasefire it could not admit to. And spent twelve months watching the country it tried to isolate chair UN committees and mediate between superpowers. This piece aged well. Every word of it.
My last article introduced you to the people. This piece introduces you to the ground beneath their feet. It is 14 minutes. It covers seven thousand years. And it will make you rethink everything you were taught about where Pakistan begins.
This desert in Pakistan was once a river valley. Four thousand years ago people built civilisations here that were among the most advanced on earth. Every single major Indus Valley site sits on Pakistani soil. Mohenjo-daro. Harappa. Mehrgarh. Taxila. Pakistan's birth certificate, written four thousand years before the country had a name. This single piece, written from a laptop in Luxembourg, outpaced that.
