@PetriOP@holysmoke For me the issue is walking and consuming the host at the same time. Having the faithful take their place at the altar rail, and having the minister of communion move from person to person, whether kneeling or standing, removes the urgency to get out the way for the next person.

@BishopBoyea A few years back, gave mom communion during a private mass with her at home. She was 93. I read the prayer after communion after she received and added the words, “And dear Lord, take my mom to your heavenly kingdom.” She opened her eyes and said, “But not today.” God bless you
@FrTotleben I think like it’s name it is an exodus from slavery into freedom. I was in a group last year. Weekly meeting were very supportive. I would do one again but for the Lenten time of 40 days not the full 90.
