@AndreaPapiniLi@kimmonismus This is a very misleading conclusion to get out of this research. The performed tests and the axis of evaluations are basically meant to evaluate how good of a medical chatbot you are, not your efficacy as a physician. And guess what, physicians aren't chatbots...
@cyb3rops Don't worry I understood your point, I agree in terms of creating opportunities. I specifically contested the concept of "beautiful animation". If a movie has a great story but no visuals, I personally don't consider it a good movie. That's why I wouldn't like AI movies.
@cyb3rops This trailer specifically has no artistic value from my point of view. No original story, no original characters, no original visual style, no original music. I consider it just an exercise
@cyb3rops I agree with you on the importance of storytelling.
I think it's similar to books. Medieval monks created beautiful manuscripts, with value in both the content and the form. When printing came, people could more easily produce content, but the value of the form was lost.
@cyb3rops I get that. If we dismiss the artistic value of the visual aspect of the movie, then ok (I personally cannot, but it's a matter of preferences)
@cyb3rops Applying modifications just for the sake of avoiding legal issues has obviously no artistic value, so that's not what I would call inspiration
@cyb3rops Inspiration means applying a transformative process to something existing, in order to convey a personal idea. No two impressionists were identical. Each ghibli movie has its stylistic identity. An AI has no "personal idea" so it only reproduces something that already exists
@cyb3rops I think it is also due to the fact that the majority of complex analyses/reports/write-ups we read usually report the final results omitting the many hours of trial&error that were required to achieve them. That leaves you wonder if you would ever be able to do the same
