After watching @TrekCulture from the beginning, I FINALLY started @CloneStarPod
Only up to the TNG S6 discussion, but I already look forward to in-jokes like "what is your favorite episode and why is it..."
I won't finish that sentence, to save @seanferrick the irritation.
@MelissaKXLY4 Apologies if this is discussed in the replies. But I apparently have hit my "read limit."
Now, I cannot see replies, and my feed is no longer being updated.
Just about 40 minutes after finding out about Twitter's "read limit," I am "unable to retrieve tweets."
Replies to posts don't load.
So this update essentially has made Twitter unusable for me.
@docm77 I like the 20-30 min videos other Hermits release, as they are easily accessible during lunchtime, work breaks, etc.
Meanwhile, Doc is out here releasing feature-length content every weekend, and I love it.
I have kept my @paramountplus subscription active because they have provided a steady stream of new #StarTrek for me to enjoy.
And I know I am not alone in that sentiment.
We will soon go from five new Trek shows running on the platform, to just two.

@MappingThePath@spokaneindians@andybillig If you aim to try this region again, some time, you should try to go through the LC-Valley (SE Washington and North Idaho) to catch some of the @NAIAWorldSeries in Lewiston, Idaho.
A great week of small-college baseball with some fantastic talent.
@TrekkieBrie I've been a fan since watching the premier of Encounter a Farpoint, when I was a child.
Really started to love the franchise with Best of Both Worlds and the premier of DS9 (my favorite Trek series).
Turned in my keys at the old job, and things are getting set up for the next.
I have a lot of mixed feelings about these next steps, but I know it is a good move, overall.
@ten_comics@GailSimone As a kid, maybe 7 or 8 years old, I begged my mom to rent My Dinner with Andre from Blockbuster. And I was horribly disappointed that it had absolutely nothing to do with Andre the Giant, or wrestling at all.
@TitanLyarrah I have not thought about that, so this is a bit of a guess.
Perhaps hospitals have filtration systems for ice and water, particularly when given to patients, that are better than the general public has?
Might not be noticing a flavor, by itself, but more a lack of other flavors
@GailSimone This particular point makes me think of Eastman and Laird with TMNT.
They had such a huge falling out once things got big, that they didn't speak to each other for decades.
@Cathrinmachin Yes, when I see images like your work and the photos that inspires it.
Space makes me wonder about things I cannot really reconcile.
We can see so much, but how much are we missing, because we haven't (or can't) looked in the right spot?
Fear of Science Missing Out (FoSMO?)
@chucksikes@coolzonemedia@bastardspod@IwriteOK@GamefullyUn@1900hotdog@why_sophie_why Lived in Florida as a kid, and my neighbor was a jeweler who'd talk about introducing his "friends, Terry. And Brian." I had no interest in meeting some random old dudes.
A couple of times I saw a red-and-yellow sports car in his driveway.
Didn't connect those dots for decades.
Waitng in a pharmacy, and someone calls her friend "Judgey McJudgerson." I can't help but snort-laugh.
She looks my way and asks "Naked and Scared?" Which is a dangerous thing to ask if you are not 100% sure of the context.
I say "yes," and we spend 20 min talking @impandskizz
@SeanTWidmer I hadn't heard anything about it. I can't find the $10M figure, only "more than eight figures."
There may have been considerations beyond the cash. The ESPN deal may be better for him on the ownership of the show, requirements or restrictions on content and activities, etc.
@IDAHOgov is having an appreciation event for state employees.
They are inviting us to have a "free ice cream treat" with the governor and lt. governor at the Capitol in Boise.
Hang on while I drive seven hours, one way for a 40-cent ice cream sandwich.
