Yes, AI in tools is great AI-enhanced retopo, weight painting, LOD creation, UVs and many other tasks... that was the promise, not shitty 3D model creation etc.

It is interesting that the true tasks that need more attention are just ignored. And the AI zealots don't even address them... and some are GURUS! 🤣

He is such a arrogant twat - Anthropic did a one off donation, probably something a lot of individuals and companies have done to keep the Blender train going. Also Anthropic doesn’t really know where they will be in 12 months like all VC backed companies they are probably looking for a massive buy out.
