Comme l’a annoncé l’OMS, un nouveau cas d’Hantavirus a été confirmé chez un membre d’équipage rapatrié aux Pays-Bas.

Nous le rappelons : la période d’incubation de l’hantavirus pouvant atteindre six semaines, de nouveaux cas peuvent encore survenir.

C’est la raison pour laquelle, en France, nous avons pris des mesures d’isolement pour 42 jours, ce qui doit permettre de briser la chaîne de transmission.

The sequence comes from the virus isolated from an imported case who came for medical treatment in Uganda.
