The Muslim community will not be liberated and have its own agency unless they, themselves, start to criticize the discriminatory rules of Sharia. Growing in Iran, which is run based on sharia rules, I was forced to wear hijab for 20+ years.

The photo on the left is taken for my mom's passport! I wasn't grown enough to have a separate passport, but apparently grown enough to be seen as a sexual object! They only accepted photos with hijab! I had to wear hijab since the age of 7!
#LetUsTalk about hijab as oppression
In Iran I had to cover my hair since I was 7. I would've been jailed if I disobeyed. A guard at my university checked my clothes to let me in. I had nightmares of it yrs after moving to the States
Some say hush, speaking of this creates Islamophobia but my fear is real
#LetUsTalk
In Iran I was told if I don’t wear hijab, I get kicked out from school, I get jailed, lashes, beaten up, and kicked out from my country. In the West I’m told, sharing my story will cause Islamophobia.
I’m a woman from Middle East and I am scared of Islamic ideology. Let us talk.
@AnonBachFan I remember she was saying while the show was airing Hannah’s brother contacted her to find out what is going on. Now he realllly knows. Lol
