@CheetosDeep@franciscorazzo Bom ponto. Ten algum "número" que seria melhor pra medir isso? Digo algum crime ou alguma outra taxa ao invés de homicídios?
@Altheoxis@JJ_McCullough i watched a video of his on ireland, and i'm pretty sure he he said he doesnt like its policies on bilingualism as well though.
@Wesley288094036@lporiginalg that's an entirely different discussion. one thing is for you to say "priests should be married", another is say that catholicism is MANDANTING them to be celibate. it's not, no one has to be a priest.
@R_Folkism@mikulambu@lporiginalg I understand not agreeing but not understanding it's a bit weird. The standard arguments are repeated all the time (Paul recommendation, Jesus eunuchs in heaven, modeling your life after Jesus who wasn't married). If you don't agree, fine, but it's not hard to understand
@Wesley288094036@lporiginalg Do you think Catholics disagree that "men who want to get married not"? No one is obligated to be a priest or a monk, if yiu want to get married in catholicism you can, you're actually literally blessed to do so
@ADHDHistorian89 @ArchangeloRom @matthewschmitz@EveKeneinan Like one could make some philosophical argument about anti-intellectualism in Protestantism, but regardless of that it's undeniable the intellectual achievments of Lutherans, Anglicans etc
@ADHDHistorian89 @ArchangeloRom @matthewschmitz@EveKeneinan I think the anti intellectual accusation is usually levelled at evangelicals specifically not Protestants as whole

@Boomergirl64@KYVAMIguy @chris_jolliff That's not even an issue with us being Catholic and therefore heretics under a protestant view. Protestant reformers agreed with us on this as well, didn't they also not know Scripture?
@jarldietrich Hey. I was never your follower but I remember your account being very different before (it came of to me closer to trade/wignat adjacent), and bow more let's say just Catholic. To me the change seems to be very good. Did something happen?
@JDB_Howe As a Catholic those were my thoughts as well, though I wonder how much good would I be able to take out of the internet if I was born as a low class person I Haiti, maybe I couldn't even do anything interesting with it, considering the issues I would face day to day
@chairmanMAO_92 @GoldmanSats21 @ladydragonjj I don't think this conversation will be fruitful, but I find your vision of the Gospels extremely misguided and myopic. If you really read the Gospels often as you claim and this is what you get from it, then there's probably no point. I hope you have a nice day!
