Then the Europeans came with invasion to the African continent and Italy's invasion and vengeful and willful destruction of Ethiopia and thousands of deaths in that country, as well as being a proxy ground for the cold war versus a Vietnam that the US tried to destroy and when they couldn't, Washington made a decision that to contain and ring fence a rising Communist China, previous enemies could be considered friends - Japan, South Korea, Vietnam, Singapore, Taiwan, all benefited from the free flow of open market trade with the US and benefited highly from the surplus trade.

Not so for Africa where Ethiopia, whose trade routes, regional markets and neighbours were all shaped by European colonialism and extraction.

Mr. Muganga Lawrence was not rejected by the committee for being a Munyarwanda, a narrative i see some people so deceptively selling. We have other leaders who are banyarwanda who were approved & have been approved in the past. Hon . Aisha Ssekindi and Dianah Mutasingwa were approved yet they are Banyarwanda but Ugandan citizens.

Muganga was not approved after he denied holding a Rwandan passport, but the Committee investigations confirmed he holds 3 passports: Ugandan, Canadian and Rwandan. Why was he denying it? Therefore, the claim that he was rejected because of being a munyarwanda is totally false, misleading & dangerous.

Did you ever hold, or do you currently hold, Canadian and/or Rwandan citizenship?
If you previously held another citizenship and have since renounced it in order to qualify for ministerial office, then the matter is straightforward: provide Parliament with documentary proof of the renunciation or cancellation.

There is no need to impute motives, allege hatred, or raise the political temperature over what is essentially a factual question. Public office carries public accountability, and questions about eligibility are legitimately answered with evidence. #UgandaGovernedByLaw

While this seems acted, it is true that it is dangerous to put our lives in the hands of unpaid and demotivated medical interns. This is not just about them, it is a national health risk. There is a lot of money wasted on luxury, useless things and useless people. We can’t say we’ve failed to find money for overworked needy young people entrusted with citizens’ lives. A country that demotivates its health workers is a country that doesn’t value lives of its citizens.
