@G0d_Nyx @sleepyy80@DeliriousZora@ninabaee_@sneako I’m not going to argue with someone for 5 hours straight I gave that person more then enough of my time. I don’t care to talk to a person called demon boy either
@sleepyy80@DeliriousZora@ninabaee_@sneako You have no verses to back up what your saying I have a million just believe verses. You don’t have one repent of your sin verse
@sleepyy80@DeliriousZora@ninabaee_@sneako “Which would include changing your mind in reference to your sin”. Ok if that’s the case you better never sin again. “Oh no it means how you feel about it” who cares how you feel about your sin the only thing that matters biblically is how you feel about Jesus.
@sleepyy80@DeliriousZora@ninabaee_@sneako So now the literal original definition of the word is no good because it doesn’t fit your narrative that’s rich man lol. Ephesians 2:8-9 makes it clear that faith alone saves I recommend you read it. Confessing your sins is a work. Believing isn’t a work
@sleepyy80@DeliriousZora@ninabaee_@sneako “Metanoia means a change in one’s way of life” No it literally means a change of your mind that’s the literal definition of the word. Never used in response to sin or how you feel about it. There’s no verse that says repenting of sins saved just belief. Which fits Metanoia better
@sleepyy80@DeliriousZora@ninabaee_@sneako Ok do you do that? Metanoia isn’t a change of ways it’s a change of your mind. So you have to change your mind from sinning meaning to stop which you don’t do. “Oh I feel bad so I’m saved”. Nah bro that’s unbiblical to the extreme
@sleepyy80@DeliriousZora@ninabaee_@sneako Honestly man I feel this is a ridiculous argument. Metanoia means change your mind you can’t change your mind from sin and changing your mind to feeling bad about sin is also not what saves. There’s so many verses that talk about faith alone
@sleepyy80@DeliriousZora@ninabaee_@sneako Acts 3:19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.
@sleepyy80@DeliriousZora@ninabaee_@sneako Viewing sin as bad doesn’t save you lol.
1. In the Old Testament they were under the mosaic laws they were not under the grace of Jesus.
2. Romans 1:16 explains everything you need to do to be saved and it doesn’t mention sin
@sleepyy80@DeliriousZora@ninabaee_@sneako Change their mind from sinning? That’s just not said ever. If you repent and believe in Jesus he will forgive you of your sins sure but the Bible never says to repent of your sins that’s nonsense. You can’t change your mind from sinning it’s impossible.
@sleepyy80@DeliriousZora@ninabaee_@sneako Yes because repent and sin were never ever used together. The only time repent was ever used was in terms of Jesus and said belief in him
