Fwiw barefoot shoes are def not sharps proof, so not the best idea in the shadier parts of town.

@hannon_ball @ScottPh77711570 @Innerdevcrypto I'll add merrell to the mix. Don't get me wrong, they're a long ways away from anything barefoot. Yet they're comfy, durable, and have great grip on ice/snow for walking.

@HedgeDirty Agreed. Story of US elections in the last 20 years is the Republicans making coalitions of smaller separate single issue groups that don't conflict (gun rights, abortions, etc) while the Dems try to wield together bigger groups which do conflict. And spending piles of money.
