This morning as Odile was officially released back to the heavens, the sky displayed a spectacular display of beauty as they received Baby Bastet the black panfur beauty 🐾🐈‍⬛♥️ and the flock of white corellas celebrated her eternity and then melts into the ether like Odile. 🐾

I bought this vintage wool Sabena of Melbourne houndstooth coat 2nd hand on ebay. It’s lined in a beautiful mint colour &the houndstooth is dark green/teal &navy. I’ve given it a wash, press &removed all the buttons & sewn them back on with a shank thread so they sit better♥️

@Spicyandfriends Yes exactly I never wash anything with interfacing, very structured linings or anything that has a very defined shape. That’s a dry clean only and sequins etc

@Spicyandfriends 2/ it just needs some TLC and if it’s quality to start with they come up beautifully & to buy new would cost a fortune. They don’t make them like this anymore.

@Spicyandfriends It says dry clean only but that’s to stop people running it in a hot wash with the sheets 🤣I wash in cold water, wool cycle, hardly any spin, dry flat in the shade &allow to dry naturally. Then I lint roller, de fluff if necessary, press inside& out & reattach the buttons 1/

@cat22t I have a can collection a graffiti artist would be jealous of but both these big items went to a professional painter because of the amount of paint required. The ironing board would have cost $200AUD in cans alone. Plus there is the overspray problem,

Well the 🇦🇺 Frazer ironing board and my old hospital tray table I now use for craft have now been given the first coat of paint. So exciting
