Characterizing the urobiome in geriatric males with chronic indwelling urinary catheters: an exploratory longitudinal study
A study of geriatric males with chronic indwelling urinary catheters found that each individual's urinary microbiome is unique yet stable over time and across different body sites. Common uropathogens were prevalent, and over half of the participants experienced catheter-associated urinary tract infections during the study period. #ReadMow on UroToday > https://t.co/RJlTbi7FYj @bayliehoch @Fritz_Albarillo@LoyolaChicago
