@Spurtle284 Definitely quite gusty in Assynt. I tucked the tent behind a crag just off the summit so was okay. Back to the car park 11.30 and rain started about 12. Then 200 miles home in lashing rain on the motorbike βοΈ
@smarshasm I visited Sanna beach yesterday for the first time in years. Busier than it ever used to be, but still beautiful. I wondered if you'd be out and about as I passed your gallery sign. π
@Spurtle284 I suppose should probably update my maps, but I probably won't π I notice they haven't bothered updating the water line up Caolie Water though.
@caldamac There's a strip of woods near me which is home to a bunch of kites and buzzards and they frequently doodle about together in the evenings. More kites in recent years (maybe 25 or so), but still quite a good number of the buzzards too.
@LawroNCB It was those crewcab type pickup/vans with the rubbish cages on the back. The water was quite low right enough. I'm sure I took pictures, but this is all I can find at the moment, taken in 2018.
@CameronMcNeish @PhantomPower14 It's sad so many people think the rural affairs post is so insignificant as to be a demotion. Highlights how little consideration is given to the rural community. It's an important role which requires a talented minister.
