@jonatanpallesen To the extent the Belgian media covered it at all, they only refer to them as 'students' or 'pupils'.
It's as if they're deliberately taking the piss. That's probably exactly it.
part of it, within the next decade or so, then yes, Belgium (and some other countries) may very well tip over to majority foreigners, with very expansive communities of muslims and Africans (and increasingly Indians). This is not a masochistic fantasy. It's happening as we speak.
Meanwhile, at the start of 2025, Belgium was 64% actual Belgians. 36% has a foreign nationality or is of foreign origin.
Sure, much of this is Brussels, where 22% are actual Belgians. Yes, 22%.
I live and work just outside Brussels. Let me assure you, it's spreading fast.
I've stopped posting about migration a lot recently because this space is just awash in garbage takes, deliberate misrepresentations, and strategically dishonest opportunists.
These people sell a quite masochistic fantasy of Europe on the verge of falling to Islam, they say we must immediately resettle millions of people, and they say there are no other solutions.
None of this is really true, if you think about it.
around 85% muslim. The other schools in this town, especially elementary, all look like this. It's not an exception, it's the rule for a great many elementary and, to a lesser extent, secondary schools all over Belgium. If we don't change course, and yes, reverse a significant
Today I have met Lucy, Mark and Katie, Henry Nowak’s mother, father and stepmother. Their courage is extraordinary.
They have endured the most appalling loss, it is a life sentence for them.
They have also faced the agonising decision to release the harrowing body-worn camera footage, knowing how painful it would be and how strongly people would react. They did so because they want truth, accountability and change.
They have asked that we work across political parties and religions to rebuild trust in the police. That trust has been broken because of what happened, and I agree with them on that.
We must also be prepared to examine, carefully and seriously, religious practices or exemptions that permit the carrying of dangerous weapons in public, and other activities that are not conducive to the public good. We also need to examine where the law needs to change.
Henry’s family do not want anger to tear communities apart. They are a family who have friends across faith and race, and so did Henry. His family want his memory to help bring our society together.
Everyone knows I have strong views about how we should deal with equality under the law. What the family agreed with me on is that we need to bring common sense back, and that is what we should all be fighting for.
I promised the family that we will work to ensure there is a positive legacy for Henry out of this tragedy.
That is my focus now.
There's a David Reich clip where he talks about new peoples moving into an area, thousands of years ago, displacing the original inhabitants of that area. He explains that over time, the original inhabitants then disappear from the gene pool.
Migration->Displacement->Replacement
'Somali's are defrauding your state.'
The Ohio senator: "I'm shocked. Shocked and appalled. That's shocking. I'm shocked. Your statement is shocking. I'm shocked. And appalled. I'm shocked and appalled. It's shocking. I'm shocked."
Brandon Gill asks an Ohio State Senator if Somali immigration has been good for her state.
She responds by saying that his question "nearly brought me to tears."
What bothers me the most about the Nowak case is how he had no chance. He was stabbed, and in other cases maybe he would have received assistance, maybe the perpetrator would have run away and then people would have helped, an ambulance would have come.
But he wasn't just stabbed. Then a systematic process began. The knife was hidden by a family member. A second family member made the call to police and lied. This set in motion the police response which judged Nowak the perpetrator without interviewing him or anyone. He was cuffed and couldn't even speak as he was cautioned that he was arrested.
It wasn't just the police response, it was that he lay wounded and dying and those around him were all a family, involved in hiding the weapon, lying to police and telling police when they arrived that Nowak wasn't stabbed.
The whole system was against him, in his own country he was completely alone, surrounded, with no chance to survive. From the moment the perpetrator decided to stab him, he had no chance. The entire system worked against him.
And when you see the video of the perpetrator and family, they act like this is a completely normal day...like they would just walk away and it was fine. No sense of shock, no sense of shame.
Don't forget that those scumbag cops in the bodycam footage went ferreting around in the victim and his dad's phones hoping to find some evidence of racism thinking that would exonerate their callous behaviour at the crime scene. They tried just as hard as the Digwas to cover their tracks.
"Wherever we look in Europe, there’s an overrepresentation of Muslim countries at the top of the crime lists. Controlling for age, sex, and income reduces this effect, but it remains strong. Immigrants in general commit much more crime than locals. Within immigrants, non-EU immigrants are much more crime prone. Within those, Muslim immigrants cause the most crime."
Some shocking statistics:
"Algerians in Germany are 26x more prone to crime than the average German. 13 other Muslim-majority nationalities are at least 5x more criminal than the average German. Only one non-Muslim majority meets that requirement (Georgia)."
"Green (Muslim) is at the top of all the rankings, with special mention for the winner, Algeria, with the brutal record of one crime for every three Algerians every year. Algerians are ~1500x times more likely to be a pickpocket than Germans, to murder at 35x the rate of Germans, to commit 23x more crime overall, and are 8x more likely to commit sex crimes."
"A few hundred Palestinians were accepted into Denmark in 1992 under a special law. Of them, about 64% had criminal records: 21% ended up in prison, and 43% got at least one large fine. About 59% were on welfare. Of their children, 34% have been convicted of a crime, 13% received a prison sentence."
But why don't you write another screed about "islamophobia", progressives? Go ahead, give the far-right even more power.

Can we stop with the 'kirpan' and 'ceremonial knife' nonsense as if it's supposed to mean anything to us? It's a knife, nothing more. It's a murder weapon that no-one except Sikhs can carry because many people have bought into the nonsense of religious privilege. It's a knife.
There's no more accurate a metaphor for the West than slowly bleeding to death by the hand of barbarians while corrupt authorities tie our hands behind our back.
@captive_dreamer@ThePosieParker This just goes to show that even the most heinous crimes committed by people who shouldn't be in our countries will be successfully memory-holed.
The Nowak case clearly highlights that we need to stop treating racism as an ~infinite evil, not because Nowak was racist (no evidence of this) but because any time you create a social superweapon like accusations of racism are now, it’ll be misused horribly.
What is racism? Ask 10 people and you’ll get 12 opinions. Historically, it meant someone who treats people badly in interpersonal interactions because of their race. Which is just, like, kinda annoying and slightly boorish. It’s not the apocalypse. There are many personal traits that are equally or more annoying.
Now the definition has been ludicrously expanded to include a bunch of things even less objectionable than that, including belief in very plausible scientific claims and policy preferences that were near-universal for almost all of human history.
Racism just isn’t a big deal. We have to take it off its pedestal. If Nowak had said something racist, it would morally change exactly nothing about the horror of what happened to him. He didn’t, but I feel over-focusing on that distracts from the fact that it wouldn’t matter if he had.
Murder is worse than racism. Hell, shoplifting is worse than racism. Enough. Who cares.
For those mainly Pakistani men who have inflicted the very worst pain imaginable on innocent British children, please know this.
There will come a day when the power of the British state that concealed your atrocious crimes for so very long is turned against you.
It will be swift. It will be brutal. It will be severe.
Because if Restore Britain gets a sniff of power, there will be a reckoning. I promise you that.
We will show you the same mercy you showed our girls.
Your race or religion will not protect you any longer.
A message will be sent that is heard right across the world.
If you rape our children, you will pay for it - and you will pay for it with everything.
That is what Restore Britain will do.
Wow, this video is way worse than I was expecting.
First of all he clearly says multiple times he’s been stabbed. Two police completely ignore the plea. The other assumes he was stabbed in the face.
The one who asks about the face stabbing tells the male cop “we have to check” and he ignores her and continues handcuffing the kid.
They can’t fully lift the sweatshirt and check for blood with the handcuffs on him.
There is clearly blood on the back of his sweatshirt. Nobody notices.
This wasn’t a light stabbing. The knife went completely through his torso.
This is either really poor situational awareness OR the police came in with false assumptions they couldn’t break.
They were wearing gloves which suggests they either saw the blood or didn’t want to contaminate evidence.
Why are the faces blotted out? The other witnesses must have known more than the police. Their silence killed this kid. The police are incompetent.
Why does anyone here have a right to privacy?
“Is anyone else hurt” the police said.
“I have a swollen eye,” said the murderer Vickrum Digwa.
Zero remorse but worse he automatically jumps to victimhood
Henry clearly says he’s can’t breathe. Police aren’t usually trained medics but they do have first aid training.
First aid:
Airway - they didn’t even look
Breathing - clearly he had strained breathing
Circulation - there is clearly a blood stain
Basic first aid could have warned them.
Police now say “it was an extremely complex crime scene”. False. One kid stabbed and multiple witnesses.
These are low IQ people. Kid was stabbed five times and they decide to call the police and hide the murder weapon? How dumb do you have to be to do that?
Are the police given no training in dealing with slow low IQ people in the UK?
