A concerning issue has emerged for thousands of Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) qualified students in India who have been awaiting their stipends for the past year. Despite excelling in the January 2023 session and being promised a monthly stipend of ₹12,400 for two years, these students are facing a prolonged delay in stipend disbursement, leading to financial distress. The customary period of releasing stipends three months after admission has not been adhered to, leading to students protesting for the release of their long-overdue financial support. The urgent intervention of the concerned authorities is necessary to address this pressing issue and ensure timely support for these deserving students. Urging the Education Ministry (@EduMinOfIndia), Education Minister Hon. @dpradhanbjp ji, @ugc_india and the concerned persons @mamidala90@President_PCI@DrMontuPatel@TweetJoshmanish to urgently look into the matter and resolve the issue at the earliest.
