Is there a conference for pharmacists of any specialty/field to discuss the big current issues in pharmacy?
I’m thinking of a conference where pharmacists share ideas and explore ways to implement solutions. Like TedTalks for the pharmacy vocation. Does that exist?
The older I get, the more I realize that showing up is the key to life. Show up when it’s hard. Show up when no one’s watching. Show up when you don't feel like it. Show up when the rewards are uncertain. Show up. You can never bet against the person who just keeps showing up.
A life lesson I wish I learned earlier: Self-doubt is the cost of entry. If you’re doing something meaningful, you’re going to question yourself. That’s not a sign to stop. It’s a sign you’re on the path. Keep going. The people you admire are the ones who had the courage to act.
A lesson I wish I learned earlier: You can get pretty damn far in life by just doing what you say you’re going to do. Be someone people can count on to show up and do the work. Reliability is the cheat code. Stop overcomplicating success. Show up, do the work, repeat. That’s it.
Show up. Show up when no one’s watching. Show up when you don’t feel like it. Show up when it’s inconvenient. Show up when the rewards are uncertain. Just show up. You can never bet against the person who just keeps showing up.
Your entire life will change when you realize that stress and anxiety feed on idleness. When you take action, you starve them of the oxygen they need to survive. The answer is found in the action.
The key to life: Show up. Show up when it’s hard. Show up when it’s messy. Show up when no one’s watching. Show up when you don't feel like it. Show up when the rewards are uncertain. Just show up. You can never bet against the person who just keeps showing up.

life hack: do the work. stop looking for the shortcut, and do the work. stop overthinking, and do the work. stop listening to people tell you why you'll fail, and do the work.
Stop telling yourself you'll do something, then not follow through
You are destroying your self-belief and confidence each time
If you say you're going to do something, get it done
If you struggle with this - start with simpler tasks
The promises you make to yourself matter
Any suggestions out there for fun ways to learn SQL? One from me would be SQL Murder Mysteries - they seem to provide different objectives based on your comfort level too!
Any others or any groups learning together?
With natural disasters expected to become more frequent and more devastating, I can only imagine that healthcare procurement has to get creative in combating drug shortages and quickly.
