🚨 US CPI (May) JUST DROPPED — Quick Take for EURUSD traders
Core CPI m/m: 0.2% ❌ (vs 0.3% forecast, 0.4% prior) → clear miss
Core CPI y/y: 2.9% (in line)
Headline CPI m/m: 0.5% (in line)
Headline CPI y/y: 4.2% (in line, energy-driven)
Bottom line:
Mildly DOVISH for the USD → BULLISH for EURUSD
The “sell EURUSD anyway” crowd is fighting the data. Core monthly miss is what the Fed actually watches. Headline jump is mostly oil — market usually looks through that.
Pre-release shorts + positioning = possible knee-jerk dip… but the data itself does NOT justify aggressive selling.
Buy the core-cooled dip unless something else (equities, geopolitics) overrides.

20 pips a day with about 4 hours screen time. Try this. 1 min 5 min 60 min 50 SMA.
Only trade when all 3 are in sync. Be happy with 5 to 10 pips a trade. One minute is the TRIGGER. Key is low leverage only 2 times account size max. Needs 70% SR for 50% PA.
