GA farmers welcome the EPA’s new, much-needed Dicamba registration. This essential tool helps prevent resistance & protects yields. Georgia remains a leader in safe use through extensive training requirements, & we appreciate the EPA prioritizing both farmers and the environment.
Special thanks to the Lewis County Farm Bureau, for donating an autographed copy of "A Home Run for Peanuts: How Georgia's Peanut Farmers Fuel Active Kids" to the HES library, in celebration of Thank a Farmer Week. The book is pictured with one of our first grade classes.
While our focus is on response and recovery from Helene, our hearts and prayers also remain with the families who have lost a loved one because of this storm. @GAFirstLady, the girls, and I continue to keep you in our thoughts as we navigate this difficult time alongside you.
Thankful for all the volunteers and first responders going out of their way to help fellow Georgians in need. Thank you to the team from @GBI_GA helping local law enforcement hand out water in Johnson County!
Many other stories like this all across the state.
