Did you know that it is estimated that there are only 6,500 genetic counselors and 1,300 medical geneticists in North America? Outside of a limited workforce, there are additional barriers at several stages to patients getting appropriate genetics care.
A study investigating variations in genetic counseling practices globally. Anna Wright, GC student at University of Maryland School of Medicine, is exploring clinical core competencies and influences on genetic counseling practices and your unique perceptive can help!

Any medical professional that fulfills the duties of a genetic counselor is eligible to participate. This includes certified and registered genetic counselors, as well as those who have advanced training in medical genetics and guide individuals and families
This is as close as our group could get to a how-to guide for studies of the environment and #epigenetics
Don't forget DNA sequence variation. Look for transcription factor and cell signalling effects.
