@3lfares@crakkkers There’s a similar ideological filter to enter American politics. To run as a candidate for one of the two parties (the only way to win, really), you have to be ideologically acceptable. Opposition isn’t banned but it’s made irrelevant by the fact that 3rd parties are impossible
