@Erikenya2023@LastNigus Facts Eritrean are dying & suffering inside #Eritrea & fleeing in droves….Please stop whitewashing our suffering under own govt.
@tesfanews Calling documented human rights allegations “political” does not answer the underlying concerns. If the claims are inaccurate, the appropriate response is transparency, independent access, and verifiable evidence—not dismissing critics or questioning the legitimacy of scrutiny.
Serious allegations concerning arbitrary detention, indefinite national service, restrictions on fundamental freedoms, and other human rights issues have been raised for years by former detainees, refugees, UN mechanisms, and international human rights organizations. These concerns deserve to be addressed directly.
Da’erona supports accountability, transparency, and the protection of the rights and dignity of all Eritreans. The Blue Revolution calls for peaceful civic engagement, justice, and respect for fundamental human rights. Progress comes from confronting difficult issues openly, not by reducing every criticism to politics.

When #TPLF & #PFDJ leaders speak, they’re often addressing their inner circle, not the people. They treat citizens as expendable and govern as if the nation were their private corporation.
This could mean one or several things:
It may indicate growing cracks and internal disagreements within #PFDJ in Asmara.
It could suggest a realization that change is becoming inevitable.
It may reflect that #IsaiasAfwerki is concerned about how events will unfold, or division
"Eritrea’s position is often caricatured because caricature is easier than engagement."
How far from the truth! The UN Special Rapporteur has repeatedly offered to visit Eritrea. His offer has routinely, regularly been refused.
