@evolved117 the same studio that called their art team & their role “redundant” and then settled for this. tells you everything you need to know about the creative approach, the same way they put next to no effort into faithfully recreating the original character models for the NPCs

remake if Halo Studios needed more time to familiarize themselves with the new engine if it meant getting a more complete, true-to-form remake
reused assets being the development standard for future projects is really concerning to me, on a creative level

wasn’t their whole stance on switching to unreal for the future of Halo BECAUSE they said it was going to technically be easier for them to develop future content compared to something like the SlipSpace engine?
I would’ve rather waited for a proper combat evolved —

Just a reminder: I reported Campaign Evolved is an unreal engine training exercise that coincides with Halo’s anniversary and faced a significant development problem. This is not the type of full remake (in terms of extra content/features) that many of you hoped for, which explains Halo Studios decision on theatre mode, firefight, etc. #HaloCampaignEvolved
the Halo books themselves are so underrated, it’s a bit of a shame the majority of the fans and players don’t really have any interest in them as a medium compared to games, which I also understand
more of the books need to be adapted into or be inspiration for new games, IMO

Tom Holland says creativity is safe from AI because it 'doesn't have a soul'
"Creativity is safe from AI because creativity has to do with the human experience. It's about emotions, it's about understanding one another ... AI can sift through data ... but it doesn’t understand emotions. It doesn’t understand the difference between being happy and being sad ... the way artists paint, it's not about what they're copying, it's about expressing themselves ... [AI] doesn't have a soul"
✅️DEVELOPING: RUMOR, Denis Villeneuve is the front runner to direct #XBOX new "HALO" film. According to reports, "@asha_shar wants the best and Denis is the best fit for the film and XBOX."
like the whole point of the conversation isn’t even about saying “oh it’s all women’s fault” or demonizing any one person or group of people, it’s just about acknowledging it’s a real problem and we should treat it with a degree of human decency and sympathy
the really sad thing is there’s very little chance of this topic ever being talked about with the appropriate seriousness, productivity, intelligence or civility on Twitter
most people just assume it’s about demonizing either men or women categorically for some reason
