Long-distance trains are NO excuse for ignoring TG’s regional connectivity! An already packed train with no seat availability is not a substitute for dedicated local services.

#Dasara & #Bathukamma are #Telangana’s biggest festivals. TG people deserve better connectivity, not treatment as second-class citizens. With #TGSRTC planning special buses at increased fares, why is #SCR not stepping up for rail passengers?

🚆 DAY 9 | Dussehra–Bathukamma Special Trains for Telangana

#SCR’s own 6 Oct release is promoting special trains across multiple routes and even publicising vacant berths to attract passengers. At the same time, additional services such as #Secunderabad–#Kakinada via Guntur are being announced.

But a simple question remains:

Where are the #Dussehra /#Bathukamma special trains for #Telangana towns and cities?

Telangana’s holidays begin from October 10. Thousands of families will travel to their native places for #దసరా & #బతుకమ్మ .

Yet there is still no meaningful #Intercity / #Jansadharan / #TOD festival service specifically addressing this demand towards:

#Kazipet • #Warangal • #Ramagundam • #Mancherial • #Sirpur • #BDCR • #Karimnagar • #Mahabubnagar • #Adilabad & other #Telangana towns.

We are not asking for trains to be taken away from any region.

We are simply asking #SCR :

Can’t 1–2 Intercity/Jansadharan services be planned to cover Telangana towns during our major festivals?

When several AP-bound and long-distance specials still show vacant berths, and SCR is actively marketing them to fill seats, why isn’t the same planning approach being used to address Telangana’s festival travel demand?

Is this a planning gap, lack of priority, or simply an oversight?
