@jamudah@MashiChiutsi@advocatemahere@farai_makomo@nickmangwana The problem with hurling insults is that it takes away from any point you may have had. Even if you're agreeing with me, I can't co-sign after you called someone else an idiot for merely voicing their perspective. Opinions are allowed. We don't have to agree. π€·πΎββοΈ
@MashiChiutsi@advocatemahere@farai_makomo@nickmangwana Firstly, I commend your responses to folks who decided they don't want to understand what you're saying. I would also push back a little and say we may not be positioned to be an international hub per se, but we could still aspire to be a regional one. π
@LEGO_Group This is the biggest Lego set I got my 13 year old thinking it would take her a while to finish it...nope. She was done in one night and she LOVED it! π«ΆπΎ
*opens wallet and cries a little*
I guess I'll be back for more soon enough...
@KMutisi Fees are not enough to cover all expenses related to university expenditures. Western universities rely on alumni donations for buildings upgrades. Until the economy stabilizes & people can earn enough to have savings, it will be senseless to ask NUST alumni to commit similarly.
@ParliamentZim Hon. Advocate Mudende is saying the quiet part out loud. π€
It's easier to apologize later for speaking off topic, but at least the point has been communicated (and heard).
@TateMavetera I respect this approach. In a fast paced world it's easy to want to select the "shiny" option. Your strategy builds a solid foundation. What is the projected timeline for all of this? And when would players like Google have an opportunity to enter the market?
@WillarShoko I love this. It's funny how two people can watch the same clip and walk away with different, but equally relevant takeaways. You see tech, I see potential patents (so, so many). From the tech that you've mentioned to the animal feed itself. All valuable assets & worth protecting.
Intellectual property protection and tech transfer is very much what I'm passionate about. I've admittedly been significantly less active on X since starting a new account, but always happy to connect on LinkedIn.

What drains value from innovation and creativity? Every unprotected idea or counterfeit product results in lost revenue, jobs, and market confidence.
The goal is to translate innovation into investment or trade advantage for socio-economic benefit. @_ARIPO
Social media will have people pointing fingers & hurling accusations, but one voice that never seems to break through the noise is the one offering real, tangible solutions. Not pretend solutions that have been dreamt up in the comfort of splendid isolation & anonymity.
@BemanyaT@_ARIPO Agreed! Though there is still a disconnect between local experts and those who would likely benefit from the protection of IP (such as educators in academic institutions who are generating new IP, possibly without realizing the value of their invention/innovation). 1/2
@AfricanLaw_ This is such a great step in the right direction. Next is education so people fully understand the value of their IP and enforcement of policies so the value paid is worthwhile for investors and innovators.
