@wvgovernor@MorriseyWV But yet you pushed a bill to strip your state employees of some of their hard earned rights. Your Labor Day message is full of sour grapes. Let’s not forget why we have the Holiday in the first place. Thank a union worker.
@mccuskeyforwv No you dipshit. That’s not what she’s saying. Surely you do understand what lack of competition on an industry does to prices. This is why we have antitrust laws and why courts rule against buyouts. The two largest corporate grocery chains are Kroger and Walmart.
@innovationcncl@wvgovernor@wvgovernor is a liar. There is no such law in place to protect residential rates from being increased if a data center uses Grid power. There are incentives and protections if they use microgrids. However there is no law requiring the use of microgrids.
@MorriseyWV Governor for our state I hope you are correct because is West Virginians are keeping all these receipts. Our state should be moving out of the gutter in every category. If not, you’re just another typical politician.
@wvug12@MorriseyWV Are you in a union? Please be specific on what you are talking about. As a union member you have a right to view the books. Unions must follow state and federal laws on how they use dues. While no union is perfect mix those that I’ve been a part of have made a difference.
@tedcruz Yes that is true. However federal and local governments are doing very little to protect the concerns of citizens. For example everyone says our electric rates won’t be impacted because they will use microgrids but there isn’t any policy requiring them to. We need protections.
@SenFettermanPA With caution. I think the American people would go along with this if they had ironclad assurances grounded in policy that our natural resources will be protected and energy cost not passed onto residential customers. Not even disguised as infrastructure upgrades or other.
@Marty_McNice Cite your references. Don’t just throw words out. I’m also wondering what children could possibly be engaging in criminal activity. I’m not naive either. I understand that some teenagers commit crimes and from what I see they receive appropriate justice.
@Marty_McNice@MorriseyWV Okay explain to me why you think that
Is a good idea? What do you have against unions? Are you against a nice middle class wage? Employer benefits? A standard 8 hour work day/ 40 hour week? Days off? Safe working conditions? And many more.
@mccuskeyforwv@bucees Won’t happen bud. WV doesn’t have the infrastructure or population for @bucees. Not enough traffic on our interstate systems. Maybe if they built for scale but I don’t see that happening in the near future.
