Have directed city police officials to issue notices to all pubs, breweries, bars, clubs, lounges, restaurants and liquor-serving establishments to strictly prevent underage entry and underage drinking.

A recent study covering 4,093 students in Bengaluru, has raised serious concerns:

1 in 3 adolescents are at risk of health issues due to alcohol or tobacco use.
33% reported alcohol use.

Nearly 18% reported tobacco addiction.

The median age of starting alcohol consumption was 17 years, with some cases reported as early as 8 years.

This is not just a licensing issue. It is a youth safety and public-health issue.

All liquor-serving establishments must implement strict age-verification protocols at entry and before service.

Key directions:

- No valid ID, no entry

- Mandatory government-issued age proof

- Strict action against establishments serving minors

- Owners, managers and licence holders will be held accountable

- Entry-point CCTV must be functional and footage preserved

- Police coordination with institutions, RWAs and citizen groups

Commercial profit cannot come at the cost of the safety and future of our children.

Karnataka will follow a zero-tolerance approach against establishments that enable it.

No ID. No Entry. No underage drinking.

ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಮಹಾನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರ ಕಚೇರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಡಿಐಜಿ ಮತ್ತು ಐಜಿಪಿ ಡಾ. ಎಂ.ಎ ಸಲೀಂ ಅವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಐಪಿಎಸ್ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಗೃಹ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾಹಿತಿ ವಿನಿಮಯದ ಔಪಚಾರಿಕ ಸಭೆ ನಡೆಸಲಾಯಿತು.

ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಅಪರಾಧ ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳು, ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ನೇಮಕಾತಿ, ಕಾನೂನು ಸುವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ, ಮಾದಕವಸ್ತುಗಳ ನಿಯಂತ್ರಣ ಮುಂತಾದ ವಿಷಯಗಳ ಕುರಿತಂತೆ ವಿಸ್ತೃತ ಚರ್ಚೆ ನಡೆಸಲಾಯಿತು.

ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಮಹಾನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬರುವ 6 ಕಮೀಷನರೇಟ್ ಗಳ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಗತಿಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ಚರ್ಚಿಸಿ, ಸಾಂವಿಧಾನಿಕ ಚೌಕಟ್ಟನ್ನು ಮೀರುವ ಯಾವುದೇ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಯಾವುದೇ ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ರಾಜಿ ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ಕ್ರಮ ಜರುಗಿಸಬೇಕು, ಸರ್ಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಜುಗರವಾಗುವಂತಹ ನಡವಳಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಹಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.

ಕಮೀಷನರೇಟ್ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿನ 16 ಯೂನಿಟ್ ಗಳ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಗತಿಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ಪ್ರತಿ ದಿನ 3 ಯೂನಿಟ್ ಗಳ ವಸ್ತುಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆ ಮಾಡಿ ವರದಿ ನೀಡಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ನಿರ್ದೇಶಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಗೃಹ ಮತ್ತು ಐಟಿಬಿಟಿ ಖಾತೆಗಳ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯನ್ನು ಪಡೆದ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾನ್ಯ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳಾದ ಶ್ರೀ @DKShivakumar ಅವರನ್ನು ಭೇಟಿ ಮಾಡಿ ಧನ್ಯವಾದಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಿದೆ.

ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳ ಬೆಂಬಲ ಮತ್ತು ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನದಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಶಾಂತಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಕಾನೂನು ಸುವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡುವ ಹೊಣೆಗಾರಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಶ್ರದ್ಧೆ ಮತ್ತು ಬದ್ಧತೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುವುದಾಗಿ ಭರವಸೆ ನೀಡಿದೆ.

When we started ELEVATE in 2017, the Dept. of @ITBTGoK’s flagship grant-in-aid program for early-stage startups, we did so with a simple belief that governments must back founders when they are taking their first big leap.

We launch the 25th ELEVATE call for applications.

For the first time, all four ELEVATE tracks are being opened simultaneously to make the program more inclusive and accessible across Karnataka.

Over the years, ELEVATE has supported more than 1,250 startups across Karnataka. Nearly 40% of these startups are from beyond Bengaluru and close to 33% are women-led. More than 15 startups supported under the program have crossed ₹100 crore valuations.

This year will also mark our biggest ever ELEVATE cohort, so I strongly encourage founders, innovators, doers and disruptors across Karnataka to apply and become part of a growing community that continues to push boundaries and build breakthrough technologies shaping the future of innovation from Karnataka.

Kalaburagi Rotti, a product deeply rooted in my region’s identity and food culture, is now reaching global markets.

I recently flagged off the first export consignments of Kalaburagi Rotti to Australia, USA and Canada. Export volumes are expected to reach 10,000 rotis per month each to the US and Australia and 5,000 per month to Canada. Around 1,000 women from over 100 local Self-Help Groups are today part of this growing ecosystem.

Over the last two years, our Government has worked systematically to build the Kalaburagi Rotti brand by providing 150+ rotti-making machines at subsidised rates to women SHGs and entrepreneurs, facilitating CSR support and enabling packaging, labelling and branding support. Kalaburagi Rotti has also been available on platforms like Swiggy, Zomato and Amazon.

This initiative is helping create stronger rural enterprises, enhanced incomes and greater economic self-reliance for the women of my district.

ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಗ್ರಾಮೀಣ ಮತ್ತು ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿನ ಕುಡಿಯುವ ನೀರು ಪೂರೈಕೆ ಕುರಿತಂತೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಇತರೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿತ ವಿಷಯಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ಉಸ್ತುವಾರಿ ಸಚಿವರುಗಳು, ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು,ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಪಂಚಾಯತ್ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಾಹಕ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಎದುರಾಗಿರುವ ಕುಡಿಯುವ ನೀರಿನ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ ಮತ್ತು ಮುಂದೆ ಎದುರಾಗಬಹುದಾದ ಮುಂಗಾರು ಕೊರತೆಯನ್ನು ಎದುರಿಸಲು ಸಜ್ಜಾಗಲು ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳು ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ನಿರ್ದೇಶನ ನೀಡಿದರು.
ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಗಳಲ್ಲೂ ಮುಂಗಾರು ಮಳೆ ವಾಡಿಕೆಗಿಂತ ಕಡಿಮೆಯಾಗುವ ಮುನ್ಸೂಚನೆಯನ್ನು ಹವಾಮಾನ ಇಲಾಖೆ ನೀಡಿದೆ. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಹೀಟ್ ವೇವ್ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗುವ ಸಂಭವವನ್ನೂ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸಿಇಒಗಳು ಗಂಭೀರವಾಗಿ ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂಬ ಸೂಚನೆ ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತು.
ಗ್ರಾಮೀಣ ಮತ್ತು ಪಟ್ಟಣ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿನ ಕುಡಿಯುವ ನೀರಿಗಾಗಿ 419.50 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ. ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳ ಪಿಡಿ ಖಾತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಲಭ್ಯವಿದೆ, ಇದನ್ನು ಪರಿಣಾಮಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿ ಬಳಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು.

- ಗ್ರಾಮೀಣ ಮತ್ತು ಪಟ್ಟಣ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿನ ಕುಡಿಯುವ ನೀರಿನ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ ನೀಗಿಸಲು ಟಾಸ್ಕ್ ಫೋರ್ಸ್ ಪರಿಣಾಮಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು, ಮತ್ತು ಟಾಸ್ಕ್ ಫೋರ್ಸ್ ಮೂಲಕವೇ ಕಾಮಗಾರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಅನುಮೋದಿಸಬೇಕು.

- ಕೊಳವೆ ಬಾವಿಗಳ ಪ್ಲಷಿಂಗ್, ಖಾಸಗಿ ಕೊಳವೆ ಬಾವಿಗಳನ್ನು ಬಾಡಿಗೆ ಪಡೆಯುವುದು ಮತ್ತು ಅತ್ಯಗತ್ಯ ಎನಿಸಿದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊಳವೆ ಬಾವಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊರೆಸುವ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು.

- ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಸಹಾಯವಾಣಿ ತೆರೆಯಲಾಗಿದೆ, ಸಹಾಯವಾಣಿಯ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಣೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ದೂರುಗಳು ಕೇಳಿಬಂದಿವೆ, ಸಿಇಒಗಳು ಸಹಾಯವಾಣಿಗಳು ಸಮರ್ಪಕವಾಗಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಗಮನಹರಿಸಿ ಖಚಿತಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು.

- ಆಯಾ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಕುಡಿಯುವ ನೀರಿನ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಗತಿಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ಪ್ರತಿ 10 ದಿನಗಳಿಗೊಮ್ಮೆ ಪತ್ರಿಕಾ ಪ್ರಕಟಣೆ ಹೊರಡಿಸಬೇಕು, ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಜನಸ್ನೇಹಿಯಾಗಿ, ಕ್ರಿಯಾಶೀಲರಾಗಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು.
ಎಂಬ ನಿರ್ದೇಶನಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತು.
ಇದೇ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಬಾರಿ ₹1387 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂಪಾಯಿ ದಾಖಲೆ ಮೊತ್ತದ ಗ್ರಾಮ ಪಂಚಾಯತಿಗಳ ತೆರಿಗೆ ಸಂಗ್ರಹಕ್ಕೆ ಶ್ರಮಿಸಿದ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಪಂಚಾಯತಿ ಸಿಇಒಗಳಿಗೆ ಅಭಿನಂದನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿದೆ.

ಶೋಷಿತ ವರ್ಗದ "ಸಾಮರಸ್ಯ" ಕೆಡಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಬಲಾಢ್ಯರ ಸಂಘ

ದಲಿತರ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸಮುದಾಯಗಳೂ ಸಾವಿರಾರು ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ, ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಶೋಷಣೆಗೆ ಒಳಗಾಗಿರುವಂತಹವೇ,
ಮನುವಿನ ಚಾತುರ್ವರ್ಣ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ದಲಿತರೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಒಂದೇ ಸ್ಥಾನ ನೀಡಲಾಗಿತ್ತು - ಅದು ನಿಕೃಷ್ಟ.

ಶೋಷಕ ಸಮುದಾಯದಿಂದ ಸಾವಿರಾರು ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಅನ್ಯಾಯ, ತಿರಸ್ಕರಗಳನ್ನು ಅನುಭವಿಸಿರುವ ದಲಿತ ಸಮುದಾಯವು ಬಾಬಾ ಸಾಹೇಬ ಡಾ. ಬಿ ಆರ್ ಅಂಬೇಡ್ಕರ್ ವಿರಚಿತ ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿ ಭರವಸೆಯ ಬದುಕಿನ ಕನಸು ಕಾಣುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ, ಈಗ ಮತ್ತೊಮ್ಮೆ ಅದೇ ಶೋಷಕರು ಹೊಸ ವೇಷದೊಂದಿಗೆ ದಲಿತರ ಒಗ್ಗಟ್ಟನ್ನು ಒಡೆಯುವ ಹುನ್ನಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಕೈ ಹಾಕಿ ಕೇಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬೀಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಚಾತುರ್ವರ್ಣವನ್ನೇ ತನ್ನ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅಜೆಂಡಾ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಸ್ಥಾಪನೆಯಾದ RSSಗೆ ದಲಿತರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಈಗ ಏಕಾಏಕಿ ಇಷ್ಟೊಂದು ಆಸಕ್ತಿ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೇಕೆ?

RSSನ ಶೋಷಕ ಸಮುದಾಯದ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳಿಗೆ ದಲಿತ ಸಮುದಾಯದೊಳಗೆ ಏನು ಕೆಲಸ?

ದಲಿತ ಸಹೋದರ ಸಮುದಾಯಗಳೆಲ್ಲವೂ ಒಗ್ಗಟ್ಟಿನಿಂದ, ಬ್ರಾತೃತ್ವದಿಂದ, ಸಾಮರಸ್ಯದಿಂದ ಇದ್ದಾವೆ.

ಈ ಸಾಮರಸ್ಯವನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಸಹಿಸಲಾಗದ ನಾಗಪುರದ ಸಂಘ, ತನ್ನ ಏಜೆಂಟ್ ಮುಂದೆ ಬಿಟ್ಟು ದಲಿತರ ಸಾಮರಸ್ಯ ಒಡೆಯುವ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದೆ.

- RSSಗೆ ದಲಿತರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಕಾಳಜಿ ಇದ್ದಿದ್ದೇ ಆದರೆ, ಗುಜರಾತ್, ಮಧ್ಯಪ್ರದೇಶ, ಉತ್ತರ ಪ್ರದೇಶ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ತನ್ನದೇ ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಬುನಾದಿಯ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಆಡಳಿತದ ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಳ ಮೀಸಲಾತಿಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಚಕಾರವೇ ಎತ್ತುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ ಏಕೆ?

- ಈ ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ SCP, TSP ಅನುದಾನ ಮೀಸಲಿಡಲು ದನಿ ಎತ್ತುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಏಕೆ?

- ಇದೇ RSS ನೂರಾರು ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಯಾವೊಬ್ಬ ದಲಿತನನ್ನೂ ಸಂಘದ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥನನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಲಿಲ್ಲ ಏಕೆ?

RSS ಗೆ ದಲಿತರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಕಾಳಜಿ, ಪ್ರೀತಿ, ಮಮತೆ ಇದ್ದಿದ್ದೇ ಆದರೆ ಈಗಲಾದರೂ ದಲಿತರೊಬ್ಬರನ್ನು ಸಂಘದ ಸರಸಂಘಚಾಲಕನನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಲಿ!

I recently reviewed the potential for establishing an Automotive Servicing Industry Park in Kalaburagi.

This Industrial Park will have the capacity to accommodate 400 automotive service enterprises involved in the servicing of heavy vehicles, light motor vehicles, earth movers, construction equipment, buses, vehicle body building, electrical work, fabrication and general engineering.

These enterprises will be provided land to set up their units within the park.

Karnataka's economy grew by 10.2% in FY 2023-24, surpassing the national average of 8.2%, despite global economic challenges, particularly in the IT and hardware sectors. The state's strong economic performance, revised from an initial projection of 4% to 13.1%, is attributed to strategic governance and diverse growth drivers. Karnataka also recorded a 10% year-on-year rise in GST collections and a 24% increase in stamp duty revenue.

The National Statistical Estimate (NSE) projects 9.4% GSDP growth for FY 2024-25, while the Ministry of Finance offers a more optimistic 14%. Karnataka’s per capita GSDP is among the highest in India, reflecting the strength of its governance. The state remains a model for sustainable development with its pro-people policies, business-friendly environment and leadership in IT, contributing significantly to India's digital economy.
